They work great are easy to build and if you add some simple hardware to hold them together they stack pretty well and are fairly sturdy. I ended up drilling some holes through one of the sides and screwing them together with metal brackets. I plan on buying more and adding to the pile as the collection grows. The few cons would be a few had a less than great finish around the pre drilled screw holes but once’s it’s in use and stacked I can’t see it. The other issue is I wouldn’t trust them stacked without being screwed together.

This thing is sturdy and spacious. It's covered by a Formica type laminate so it's resistive to scratching. I have 58 albums and 4 laser disc movies (remember those?) stored in this thing. The laser discs are at an angle due to their width so another 10 albums should fit without the discs. It's working well so far. I've had it for about 8 weeks with no issues. The only thing is, is that it is bulky and the parts are heavy, so assembly may be frustrating. I put the screws in semi loose so it could go together easier. The wood is press board so install the screws straight in the first time carefully. The pre-drilled holes seem to be prone to stripping. Then tightened them up completely after checking the alignment. It's a deal for 20 bucks. That's less than a plastic create which ran at about 40 bucks for a good one at the time.

This record crate was easy to assemble and fits in well with the rest of my décor. Assembly was very straightforward and you can practically put it together just by eyeballing it. One of the tricky parts was making sure the screws went in the pre-drilled pilot holes in the cross-members once they came through the front/back panels rather than making new holes, as the particleboard construction is very soft. No screwdriver was included in the kit, though this is made very clear in the manual.It looked like my unit had experienced some rough handling as there was a significant dent in the packaging and in one of the panels. Not a huge deal for me though--it is rather inconspicuous when fully assembled. I don't know where/when this damage occurred but the packaging definitely leaves a lot to be desired, as there is some but ultimately inadequate foam padding (which leaves a mess of tiny styrofoam beads).Overall, I can't really complain that much for the price. It took less than 10 minutes to assemble and it does a good job of holding my records.

Love this wood crate!Comes in the box disassembled but with a few screws, it comes together nicely. Once you put it together this is sturdy!I have had mine completely full with about 40-50 records and I can still pick it up and move it around no problem. No creaking, no shifting, etc.I also love how simple and affordable it is. I will be buying a second one. If you lay them on their side you can stack them which is a nice additional option I will try.If you're thinking about a nice basic record storage crate, that is solid and well built, look no further, this is exactly what you want.

El diseño es bueno, lo malo es que no tiene tapa de fondo, solo un travesaño, podría lastimar las cubiertas de los vinilos

Se siente firme, buen material… trae unas calcas para pegarle… se puede poner acostado también para que los discos queden de frente. Recomendado, buena relación precio calidad.

Nice, strong crates. I really like the black carbon fiber look, it's subtle and modern. I don't use the stickers and don't really get why they bother to include them. But the crates are nice and they hold the weight very well. I only wish they had some sort of feet, I worry they'll scratch the book shelf where I keep them over time.
