I have lost the will to live over these phones . I bought these devil phones for my 88 year old mom but I think I have aged 20 yers since trying to instal them .I hooked up my parents last landline phones - they were made by Panasonic but very similar to these phones and though I'm no engineering whiz I'm usually able to cope with anything of a Tech nature that is not Super Complicated.However I think even if I had Tesla and Einstein on the phone walking me through this I wouldn't have have been able to suss out how to fix the 'No Line' issue . I tried EVERY thing .. i Checked My Out Lets I Tried Unplugging Then Replugging ,, Moving the Phones to Different Outlets in Different Rooms Using Different Batteries . No Joy.I Set Up The Answeringmode The Date Then every thing would all go Blank The go Back to No line. Then I D'd get a Line for a minute then It would go Dead . This Merry go round went on and On. Having A Friend who is a Tech Wizard Come over and Have a Look before I Give up But this has been stressful and exasperating . On top of which I had to switch back to the OLD land line phones which are on on their last leg . Really disappointed because My mom has friends who Raved about this phone so I Know basically the product must be good - AT& T has Never let me down before I swear by them So I'm really surprised . This wouldn't stop me buying another AT&T Product- Perhaps its an Issue with My Wiring... But As I Say My Panasonic Landline Works Fine . The Story Continues . Hope I Can sort it Out . The Phones are Great Looking And The Big Numbers Are a Plus For My Mom who Is Going Blind . If Anyone Else Has 'No Line 'Issues I'd Like to Know! Leave a Comment x

This is a great phone system has lots of features more than I need but some are great. Would recommend this and I would buy again

I have been receiving may calls from scam centers pretending to be telephone companies, medicaid, tv companies, etc. There's no need to talk to them, but the phone ringing fifteen times a day is just annoying. I set this phone to screen calls from unknown numbers, now I just see the display light up, then the missed call counter increases. If I'm not watching I never even notice until I check the counter.The menu system is pretty poor. They must have had new hires design their interface. But once it is set you can forget about it.Other than that the phones work fine. Little different from any other modern digital phone.

Calls calls calls all day Medicare,answering ring and no one there,calls from foreign countries etc.After setting this up finally my god peace peace peace at last.You enter all peoples numbers in allow list and the smart screening feature won’t ask your friends to leave there name and to hit # sign.It’s the best thing I have ever got of Amazon.If a real person does call and hits # sign when the phone rings it announces HELLO YOU HAVE A CALL FROM (like will say Judy) it’s says judy,then it says hit 1 to answer call,hit 2 if you want to answer and add number to allow list if it’s someone you forgot to add to allow list,or if you don’t know them to reject call and add them to block list hit 3,or if you want to send it to the answering machine hit 4 on your handset keypad.It does need caller id for it to work correctly.I would recommend this if you are about to go crazy .

I usually don't review purchases right away because I like to wait until the inevitable problems develop, but this phone system is simply great so far. I got it as an emergency replacement for a set from another manufacturer that failed. Setup was easy and fast; from box to use took less than 30 minutes. The automatic call screening feature is outstanding. Our phone used to ring with 'unknown' and fake callers, sometimes a dozen times daily. Now, it's blessed relief from the scammers and I look happily forward to seeing the phone busy rejecting the constant barrage during political season. The only thing I'll miss is the ability to have line power supplied by one handset during a power outage, which we have frequently, but I can live with that. So far, I'm very happy with this set and the price was reasonable as well.
