I needed a way to easily control the volume for the subwoofer in my car - the one that the installer had connected directly to the sub did nothing. Through a little research, I found that this controller, connected to AudioControl's LC6i, would control the sub output, and it lives up to that promise.The only knock that I can give is that the notch in the knob that shows you what level you are on is black, so you can't see it in the dark. I am going to either paint it white or find some other luminous material.

Worked for what I wanted it for. Although it doesn’t completely turn off the bass at lowest volume, it’s still pretty low volume on my sub and works well for me. Nice metal quality and feel to it.

The volume control worked really well, although, it is a little bit stiff to turn, and the LED should fade to off when the control is turned to minimum.

If you have an appropriate AudioControl line output converter, pair it with one of these. I had an audio install done on my dad's car, and that involved putting in an AudioControl LC7i. With the subs that I had installed for my dad, some songs just don't quite have the bass you would like, while at the same setting, other songs are just obnoxiously bass heavy. The ACR1 corrects that, letting you increase or decrease the subwoofer level as you see fit for each song.

The Audiocontrol ACR-1 is a great addition to the LC2I and the LC7I, it allows you to set the amount of bass you want in your vehicle without having to go play with the level control at the amplifier.I still have not mounted it anywhere just had it plugged in and placed in the glove compartment, will be mounting it in the dash on the driver's side in an empty switch location.
