That really works. Probably tool that you not going to use real often, but it is good to have this on hand. When connected it keeps all settings. I had to replace battery once in my Prius and it lost the steering calibration and this caused the combustion engine not run. Lucky I was in the dealer parking lot but still cost me another $80 to have them reset it. This device would save me the hassle and cost. Definitely worth having on hand.

It's nice when you find an item that is simple to use and does exactly what it claims to do. This Autel cable plugs into the OBD2 port, then you can connect any 12v power source to the alligator clips, and that allows the vehicle computer to remain powered enough to retain all its settings. And you can use any 12v power source, such as another car battery, a garden tractor battery, a trickle charger, a regular size car battery charger, a 12v power supply... Any of those will connect to this cable and do the job.So yes this cable is very well made and easy to use. Recommended.

So I bought this as a gift for my husband and he's not the type to come on here and leave a review, but he was just so very happy with it that I just wanted to let everybody know that it's a great buy. It's something that he needed really badly and he loves that it works really well. It's very easy to use, it does everything it says It does, and it does it very easily.
