Helps protect my stainless steel pot when pressure cooking vegetables. Makes for easier clean up as well.

The steamer basket fit into my 8 quart Instant Pot and also the large pot I use for spaghetti. I have washed the colander and obviously fit it into other pots so I rated "Easy to Clean" and "Versatility". I assume it would be "Easy to Use" but have not used it, so I didn't rate that aspect. I was surprised that the basket was less rigid than I thought it would be. I have a large Lékué colander which also collapses and the material is a little thicker so the steamer's thinner material may impact it's ease of usage especially when filled with food and was in very hot water.

Inicialmente había comprado una cesta de metal, pero sorpresa que venía chueca, se balanceaba como columpio y pues así la tuve que regresar. Adquirí ésta porque al ser de silicona pues tiene la base pareja. Es perfecta. La uso casi diario con verduras o huevo. Estoy muy contenta.

This little silicone basket is not only an excellent steamer insert for my 3qt Instant Pot but it's also microwave steamer, and a terrific colander for washing, sorting and draining all kinds of foods. Because it's flexible, it folds up and takes up less space in a drawer than a stainless steel basket would.Seems very durable, though I haven't yet tested whether the silicone stains -- so far, I've avoided bringing tomatoes and turmeric into contact with the basket.

Great Steamer Baskets. I use the 4qt and 6qt in my Tefal Cook4Me pressure cooker.
