This stereo for GMC Sierra/Yukon (2007–2013) is a well-rounded upgrade for drivers seeking modern functionality in an older vehicle. A major pro is its compatibility with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enabling seamless smartphone integration for music, calls, messages, and navigation. The 7-inch IPS touchscreen is responsive and clear, delivering a modern user experience with decent brightness and viewing angles. It also includes Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation, and comes with a backup camera, which adds safety and convenience; especially for trucks and SUVs. The 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM provide enough speed and storage for basic multitasking and app use, though performance may not match higher-end head units. On the downside, the system’s 2GB RAM can feel limited when running multiple apps or navigating heavy user interfaces, leading to occasional lag. Installation can be tricky for some users, especially if they’re not familiar with car stereo wiring, and while it’s advertised as plug-and-play, a few buyers have reported needing extra adapters for full steering wheel control or OEM feature retention. The included camera is functional but not top-tier in image quality. Still, considering the price and the comprehensive feature set (including Android 12, touch interface, and smart connectivity), this stereo unit provides strong value for those wanting to modernize their GMC Sierra or Yukon without breaking the bank.

The AWESAFE Android 13 Car Stereo is a feature-rich upgrade for a wide range of GM vehicles from 2007 to 2013, including Chevy Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Sierra, Yukon, and more. With built-in wireless CarPlay and wired Android Auto, it brings smartphone integration, Bluetooth, GPS navigation, and multimedia capabilities to older dashboards in a clean, touchscreen format. The 7-inch IPS display is sharp and responsive, offering a clear interface for apps, navigation, and media playback. Performance is backed by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage—adequate for daily use, though heavier multitasking may occasionally cause minor lag. Wireless connectivity is reliable, and both CarPlay and Android Auto function as expected for music, calls, and voice assistant use.Installation is relatively straightforward for those with some experience, and included CANbus support helps retain steering wheel controls. Some vehicles may require additional adapters to maintain full OEM feature compatibility, especially for existing backup cameras and speaker wiring. The included backup camera is functional and easy to integrate, though image quality is modest. Still, it adds valuable safety functionality, especially for larger vehicles.Overall, this unit provides excellent value for the price—delivering the core features of higher-end systems at a fraction of the cost. It's a worthwhile upgrade for anyone looking to modernize their GM vehicle without sacrificing usability or aesthetics. :)

I recently installed the AWESAFE Car Stereo Radio in my 2011 Silverado, and I couldn't be happier! The Android 13 system runs super smooth thanks to the 2GB RAM and 4-core CPU, and the 32GB of storage is plenty for all my apps and music. The touchscreen is sharp and very responsive, but what I especially appreciate are the physical buttons — they make it much easier to control while driving without having to constantly look at the screen.CarPlay and Android Auto connect seamlessly, and the built-in GPS navigation works great both online and offline. The HD backup camera included was a huge bonus — installation was straightforward, and it has already made parking so much easier. Plus, the steering wheel controls were easy to sync, keeping everything super convenient and safe. While I would have loved an even larger screen, this stereo absolutely delivers on performance, quality, and value. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their Chevy or GMC vehicle!

Installed this in my 2011 Silverado and it’s been a pretty solid upgrade from the old stock radio. The touchscreen is responsive, and having CarPlay makes road trips way easier (no more fighting with a phone holder every time I hit a bump). Bluetooth connects fast, GPS is accurate, and the backup camera is surprisingly decent for the price. It definitely gives the truck a more modern feel without having to spend a fortune. Now, the cons. The instructions were…optimistic. Let’s just say YouTube became my best friend during the install. Also, the sound quality needed a little tweaking to get it just right—nothing too crazy, but it wasn’t plug-and-play perfect. Still, for the price, it’s hard to complain. If you’re even a little handy and have a little patience, it’s a smart buy.
