I weigh in a lot of fish that are over 50 lbs, this scale seemed fairly accurate when I weighed a dumbell weight. I don't like the screw holder in the back though.

The scale feels hefty with a nice quality and seems to function well. It was accurate as far as I could tell with the few things I weighed, as long as they're over a couple pounds to activate it. It sounds like a screw is rattling around inside but it hasn't affected anything. My main issue and reason for returning this scale is the terrible viewing angles for the screen. It's decent if you're right in front of it or have the scale a bit over your head, but don't expect to read anything if you're above or to the side. I wanted to use this scale while lifting items by hand, but it's much too cumbersome. Another way I tried using the scale for measuring the pull weight of some archery bows (since the dedicated plastic ones have a tendency to break). As long as you can manage the awkward hold (possibly get somebody else to read the screen) the scale was up to the task.Also for clarification since the product description is a mess and lists the batteries as 3x AA and 2x AAA (the instructions also list 3x AAA), this 300kg/660lb scale uses 3x AA.

nice housing, works down to 100th of a LB,used as a thrust meter for my RC airplanes.
