I like it. Was a bit apprehensive before ordering after reading other reviews complaining the eco packaging was possibly adding dust to the filter compared to the old way of plastic case and foam insert. Those reviews caused me to actually buy a competing brand nano filter (not much cheaper), only for me to return it due to a couple of issues, including for whatever reason it seemed to electrostatically attract dust, making the blower actually unable to blow dust away (was actually adding more dust, as the dust already stuck to the filter was immovable by air alone, so the blower was just blowing ambient dust to stick in greater numbers onto the filter)Glad to report this B+W filter came well packaged, and the eco cloth case (or whatever it was made of) didn’t seem to leave any perceptible dust, and the lens looked clean as it should. After fitting on the filter to the lens (canon RF 70-200mm f2.8), there was a couple of dust particles noted, likely landed from ambient air. But was able to remove with ease with the blower, and no strange static issues.

I ordered this clear B+H filter after considerable research as to what would provide lens protection for my Nikon P1000, without altering image quality.I initially had another brand of UV filter, but found that it had a negative impact on clarity and focus. The B+H clear filter gave me exactly what I was looking for. The attached photos speak for themselves. Each having been taken at a distance of 40' and a focal length of 2,000mm. The first was taken with the previous filter, the second with the B+H filter, and the third with no filter. Image quality has been dramatically improved by replacing the previous filter, and there is virtually no perceptible difference in quality between the photo taken with the B+H filter or no filter at all, while at the same time providing lens protection.Great filter! If this sounds like what you’re looking for, get one!

Using this on my Canon RF 70-200 /f2.8 L lens, mainly to keep the front lens element clean and protected. I always buy B+W as they have a great reputation and, in my opinion, it is well-deserved. The Master series is perfect for the 70-200 lens, whereas for wide angle I'd recommend using the lower profile (and more expensive) T-Pro series. This is a clear (type 007) filter with a rating of > 99.5% light transmissivity across the visible light spectrum, and I cannot notice any discernable artefacts in my photos when the filter is used. The ribbed edging makes it is easy to grip so as to fit or remove it from the front of the lens, simply screwing it on or off.I a prefer the plastic cases that used to be supplied for housing the filters - these days they come in a leather pouch inside a cardboard box. However the filter is ususally fitted to the lens and only occasionally comes off to fit a CPL or ND filter. While this filter comes at a premium price, I consider it a worthwhile investment as, due to its high-tech manufacture, it is effectively an "invisible" piece of very special glass.I have quite a number of excellent B+W filters and can highly recommend this one.
