I bought this stroller as a shower gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves it for strolling my granddaughter. Glides beautifully and so effortlessly. So easy to store in her mini van too. Best quality stroller and worth the money. Now it's been over a year and had no problems. My year old granddaughter loves when I jog and it's such a smooth riding stroller. So happy with my purchase ☺️

I LOVE THIS STROLLER . I debated on whether I wanted to spend so much on a stroller for MONTHS. At the time I purchased it it was for our newborn and 3.5 year old. I was really on the fence about whether it was worth buying due to the age of my oldest but and it totally was. We’ve had it for a year now and still use it almost daily with either the two seats, or one seat and graco car seat attachment. We take a lot of walks in poorly paved areas and this stroller does really well. With two kids in it (weighing 35 and 20lbs) it’s a little difficult to push in grass or large gravel, but definitely doable. The telescoping handle is a great feature as I am a little taller and otherwise end up kicking the wheels. The variety in seat configurations are also awesome. My now 4 year old is taller than average and can still comfortably sit in the seats and doesn’t want to upgrade to the bench seat yet. The storage basket underneath is pretty sizable too. We will often use this stroller to run into the grocery store when needing just a few items and fill up the bottom. Also a huge plus is that this stroller fits in the back of our Fiat (with the seats removed.)This stroller is heavy (honestly though, any double pretty much is) and it does take a couple of minutes to set up/take it apart which is something that would have bothered me when I had one kid, but with two kids, everything takes us forever anyway. My only real complaint with this stroller would be that you have to buy all the accessories separately (snack trays, cup holders etc) Causing this stroller to get pretty expensive. It’s also important to note that the seats aren’t for children under 6months so for a newborn you’d have to purchase a car seat adaptor or a bassinet. All that said, I would absolutely buy this stroller again.

This is our second City Select. Our first was the regular City Select with the double seats. It worked fantastically for traveling with both my kids by myself. But now that my son is older, he needed a seat other than the stroller seat. We had the glider board for our regular CS but he didn’t get to sit down and on long layovers I felt like he needed an actual seat. Enter the CS Lux! Honestly I hate that Baby Jogger doesn’t make a bench seat for their regular CS, I feel like it’s a marketing ploy because the Lux is pretty much the same as the regular and much cheaper CS. The bench seat is the only reason I got this one. Anyway, that’s neither here nor there. The reason I LOVE this stroller are as follows:-super easy maneuverability. My son weighs 45lbs and my daughter weighs 30lbs and I can pretty much steer this one-handed, and take very tight corners.-folding is a cinch. It’s lighter than my regular CS, and can even be folded with the bench seat attached. It does take two hands, but I just have the kids stand next to me at the gate at the airport while folding.-the wheels are rubber, so the never deflate. We live on a dirt/gravel road in Alaska and I’ve never had an issue. This thing can go over pretty much everything. It goes on snow pack, and through slush pretty well when our snow finally melts.-huge storage underneath. The sides of the basket are a strong but flexible mesh, so you can kind of shove whatever you need in there and it just expands as needed.-higher weight limit. The stroller seats can hold up to 45lbs each, and the bench seat(sold separately) can hold up to 65lbs.Cons(there aren’t many, but a few):-the stroller seat doesn’t recline with the bench seat attached(which isn’t a big deal to most people here, as this review is for the stroller not the separate attachment).-I do wish it was a one-handed fold, but honestly it’s not that big of a deal-it’s heavier than some single strollers, but it’s because of the solid frame and really well made rubber wheels.-it comes with no attachments or accessories whatsoever. You have to purchase everything separately from Baby Jogger which again, I think is kind of a marketing ploy but I digress. All in all, you get what you pay for, and this stroller is the Cadillac of all strollers in my opinion. Very very well made, no cheap plastic parts. It’s made for the long haul for sure!

The original City Select came highly recommended from friends, family and the internet. When I saw the upgraded version branded with the "LUX" I was sold. There are many things to love about this stroller, many things to be improved upon. The Ride----- It has a four wheel suspension but the wheels are firm. Therefore, when used in conjunction with a infant car seat your little ones head will bobble a bit on rough pavement and tough city streets. It obviously glides like a dream on smooth floors. The Basket---- Its large, but not huge. Compare this basket to a stroller like the Chicco Bravo, or the new Joovy Qool, size and accessibility is not the best. First, when you need to access the basket, you have to pull down this stretchy material and maneuver under a bar. Its fine, just not terribly easy. For example on both the Bravo and Qool, the basket is just open and nothing to move. Very easy. The Seats---- Like others have said the fabric is nice. Not a lot of ventilation on the canopies except for the mesh peek-a-boo windows. The seats dont lay fully flat AND you cannot recline them when both are facing forward; its not physically possible. You can fully recline them if the top seat is facing forward and the bottom seat is facing back. This is true in the reverse fashion as well. The bench seat is awesome, comes with a stand so the kiddo can sit on the bench or stand up. Our 21 month old loves it. We put the infant car seat in the lower position and he stands on the rear and holds baby sisters feet.Infant Car Seat---- We have the Keyfit 30, hope this helps people with that seat. When they Keyfit is in the upper position the bottom seat is very hard if not impossible to recline when facing forward, possible to do it when that seat is facing back. If the Keyfit is on the bottom, you can recline the top seat no problem in either direction. The adapter for the Keyfit (albeit large and slightly cumbersome) does stay on when the stroller is folded. The fold---- Likely the most contested issue about this stroller. I have used a few and I can say honestly mine sticks on the right hand side some of the time. Its frustrating. The stroller doesn't stand when folded. The handlebar is really high, works well for us 5'4'' and 6'. No accessories are included. The handbrake is in a garbage position but not a deal breaker. I have a Joovy parent console and it appears that it will work WHEN we take the infant car seat off and move to just two seats. The Baby Jogger parent console will NOT work with the LUX. One strange thing, the front wheels sometimes just spin as if all weight has been lifted off them. Strange weight ratio on the stroller that designers need to work out.So, I would recommend it. I had a tough time choosing between the Qool (new for 2017) and the LUX (we vetoed the Vista since the "rumble seat" didn't allow over 35 lbs). Ultimately, we chose the LUX because of a couple of things-1. Compact fold, its really a lot smaller than others. Remove the second seat posts and the wheels and its darn near flat.2. Sit/STAND bench. The Qool has the sit, but not the stand. Our little man wants to stand.3. Suspension. My Chicco Bravo rides on air, its so smooth. The Qool was like on rails or something. Super harsh. The Lux is smooth enough for what we need, but they could make it a softer ride.

Only ONE negative: The only thing I am not liking is the break placement. It’s so ackward to put on the break as it’s very stiff but that may go away once broken in and just as difficult to release it. I can’t use the parent console up as high as I used to on the older version because the break handle gets in the way plus if there was a cup in a console it would definitely be in the way. Placing the parent console lower on the bar is of course an option but the interferes when my daughter is on the riding bench, it would be innher face.Pros: it’s strong, sturdy, seats are beautiful and large and deep, recline and canopy are awesome. My 4.5 and 1.5 yr old love it and fit really good in the seats.Yes it’s a bit long but that doesn’t bother me especially when I get to see my kids napping comfortably and yes it’s heavy but also worth it.p.s. Sold my Bugaboo Donkey to buy this again!
