I bought this bag to use as my work bag. It has a lot of room for my laptop and other items. Its comfortable and convenient to carry either by the handles or as a crossbody. In a pinch, the zipper in the back opens to allow the bag to go over the luggage handle and sit nicely on the suitcase.

Zippers look and feel cheap. Bag is functional and serves its purpose. Pricing-wise, I bought it during a lightning sale. But it has remained more or less at that price point since my purchase!

My grandchildren are leaving babyhood behind, so I don't need a dedicated maternity backpack anymore. This bag is a great step up. I can use the laptop section for essential child clean-up items for the occasional "accident". The distance from the top of the handles to the top of the bag is 31 cm (12 in), so there's plenty of room for me to wear it comfortably over my shoulder, and I'm a big woman. A crossbody strap is a godsend when I have hold of 2 wriggling bodies, while crossing a carpark for example. The cadet navy I chose has a purple hue in direct sunlight, which surprised me, but I like it very much. Baggallini has made this "essentIial" tote bag more affordable, compared to other bags in its line-up, by omitting a key leish and a RFID wristlet, as well as reinforcement in the base of the bag to let it stand up. I've dedicated an inner slip pocket for my keys, and already have a RFID wristlet. I plan to cut a bit of document folder plastic to fit the base of the bag to aid stability. These adaptations I'm happy to make for the significantly lower price. I expect to use this bag for travelling, also. Airlines in Australia have strict luggage restrictions, but this light weight bag will easily meet their personal item restrictions, while being big enough for my needs

I carry a lot and travel for work. Shoulder straps are long enough to slip on easily and stay put. Laptop is secure. Can fit a S'well water bottle in outside pockets on each end of the bag. It looks sleek and professional and feels extremely well made. Has crossbody strap that I haven’t needed to use b/c the shoulder strap is so comfortable. Roomy inside, easy to stay organized with this bag.Will also use it to fly Air Canada - as a personal item, and this bag meets their picky requirements. I can fit laptop, Kindle, chargers, several files, and a sweater in the bag. Room for wallet and cell in front pocket. Luggage sleeve can be used as an additional pocket when not in use.I used to carry purse, laptop bag, work bag and lunch bag. Now just this and a lunch bag. It's sturdy, easy to wipe down and feels great. Initially thought it was pricey - was not familiar with Baggallini - but just love it. Worth every penny.
