The Girls Sun SPF UV Rash Guard Jacket Hoodie is lightweight and appropriately sized. I like that the jacket is mesh so that it is more breathable during the Summer and the color is accurate to the picture. Size XL (14-16) is a good fit for a 5 foot 13 year old.My only concern is that the jacket is very thin and see through. This would be good for exercising and lightweight sun protection. Overall, this jacket is breathable but very thin.

This is perfect for my daughter for when we go out boating or fishing! I love how breathable it is so there is no worry about overheating while wearing it. This allows protection from the sun and so much more and she is in love an dso happy while wearing it! It is made from great material and works for its purpose!

My daughter absolutely LOVES this lightweight jacket. She tends to get cold easily, so having this handy helps knock the chill off without getting too hot.Even in pretty warm weather, this jacket works well to keep sun off of your arms and neck, so it makes a terrific sun tee.The zipper makes it easy to take off when things get too toasty.The color is brilliant and looks amazing in person.All in all, we're super happy with it!

I got a size medium for my *just* turned 10 year old (who is 60th% in height/weight) - I should have gotten a large. (I think M is more of a 8-10 size). It fit her, but with no room to spare, so I worry that she will even be able to use it at the end of this summer season, let alone for more than a year.She had a bit of trouble with the zipper (I was able to do it, but it's on the small side and has to be double seated just right). Seemed made well otherwise, and material is soft and as expected for a swim/moisture-wicking type of material.She really likes it - just wish we could wear it longer.
