LOVE this container. This has so many different ways to use. I am on a certain eating plan and I have different foods that I consume daily in this and they all are mixed to form a cake. I love the ease of opening one lid and I bought little spoon dippers for each one of them. So very nice.

I originally purchased the larger one with the handle (which I returned for this smaller size). I haven't used this one yet but it fits perfectly in the bottom of my back pack. I will see how it does once I put my snacks in it.

7-14&17-243.5 starsJust in case you missed it in the listing, this is not dishwasher safe. Hand wash only otherwise you run the risk of it warping from the heat in the dishwasher.The plastic reminds me of refrigerator bins or Tritan plastic. It's not brittle and can handle some abuse, as I found out dropping two of the smaller empty bins on the floor, but if it was fully loaded and you dropped it from waist high it likely would crack.Also neither the large/small trays or lid are stamped with what type of plastic, if it can be ran through the microwave, dishwasher or if it's recyclable etcetera.As long as you get the lid completely seated and snapped on properly it is waterproof. It won't stop foods from the smaller bins from intermingling but if you had a spill it will keep it contained.The lid has a removal silicone gasket for cleaning purposes, although you'll need to use a toothpick or something small to pry it up.Also with the lid at least on the larger version the walls of the outer tray bend in a little bit when you're trying to snap the latches down so be sure that you're putting pressure on top of the lid towards the walls while snapping the latches in place. Otherwise you may think it's latched when an actuality it isn't, and you'll find out as soon as you pick it up by the handles.I do like the capacity of the smaller trays. They hold 2 cups roughly 1/2" inch below the rim. You could use this in any configuration with all six trays just one or two but take note they don't actually snap in or sit in grooves so they will move loosely around in the larger outer tray if you don't have other items around them.This is much more appealing than the harbor freight nuts and bolts bin I was using before when taking snacks or hors d'oeuvres to friends homes for gatherings.With a few minor improvements this could definitely be 5 stars.Hopefully my written and photo reviews are helpful, thank you!
