Does what it is supposed to. Ice balls are crystal clear. I wish they were just a little bit larger, but otherwise it is exactly what I wanted.

I'm able to make clear ice balls with this product when I use water that has recently been boiled. It takes a bit of effort to get the ice balls out. It's also a bit of a project to fill the ice maker up. It's worth it for the perfectly clear ice spheres. Recommended!

Makes great ice balls the first time. It works best if its clean and dry before each use but, I usually get 2-3 batches before drying. Filtered + distilled or boiled water will yield the best results.

I have seen other reviews saying the ice is not clear, but this is not my experience. The ice is perfect every time, and very beautiful. It's a very well designed mould and the insulation around the reservoir below the moulds is evidently very good.I do need to use water that's passed through my water filter jug. If I don't do that, there is normally a small layer of cloudy ice within the spheres, but with filtered water it's very very good.
