These batteries are perfect for my needs. Gives me the extra battery life I will need. Super easy to use and install. They work and function great. Easy to charge and comes with everything you need to do so. Great cost as well.

I have been wanting to get a couple of these for a while. I bought two. They are working good so far. The price was good, and the shipping was fast. I would recommend to anyone interested in better battery life for their Baofeng UV_5R.

I have been using this battery in conjunction with my uv-5r. So far it’s been great, I love the longer lasting battery and the ability to charge via the usb cable.

The battery arrived in a factory sealed package. Also included, was a cable with a USB connector on one end and a strange looking connector on the other end. (I haven"t figured out why this cable was included because the other end will not fit into the factory charger. ) It took about 3 hours to fully charge the battery using the factory charger. The battery holds the charge and works great. Highly recommend this battery.

These batteries work very well. In my opinion, the larger size makes the radio easier to handle. The extra capacity is nice too. The only problem is that the plug on the charging cord that plugs into the battery does not make reliable contact with the contact in the battery. I ordered two of these batteries and cords, and they both have intermittent contact at the charging port on the battery. I reported this to Amazon and they replaced the batteries and cables for me with two new units, but one of those cords has the same problem. I have to carefully position and pull the cord in one direction in order to have the cable make contact with the battery. When the cable is plugged into only the battery, the LED on the USB connector illuminates green when contact is made. Wiggling the cable around in the battery causes the green LED to turn on and off as contact is made and broken on three of the four batteries that I have. (The LED is green if the cable is only plugged into the battery and not a USB charging port. When plugged into a USB charging port, the LED turns red while charging, and then turns green again when fully charged.) The cable is usable, but you just have to be sure that it is making contact while charging. Kind of a minor aggravation that could be fixed with a better plug design.
