This mount is designed specifically for the Starlink Gen 3 which is my current setup. Made from aluminum alloy it feels really sturdy and durable which is important when you’re out on the road or parked by the lake. What sold me on this mount is its anti-theft design. Nobody wants to worry about someone stealing their expensive dish while they are not looking. This mount gives me peace of mind. It locks securely and I can tell it's built to last. I was able to install this on my own. I’m not a handyman by any means but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Quickly I had it mounted on the roof of my RV. It stays put even when driving on bumpy roads which is extremely important. It looks like a professional install which I was very pleased with. I can now leave my RV alone without worrying about my dish missing when I return. This is the only mount I have found that has this locking feature and I am glad someone had the great idea to make this. From the materials alone this would have been worth the price but with the added security it is a bargain.

Used this mount on my semi truck. Drove from Victoria, BC to Yellowknife, NT with no issues. Ran up and down the winter road to the mines for 5 Weeks with no issues. I did put blue loc tight on the retention screws.

We installed this Starlink mount exactly as instructed—tightened every bolt, followed every step—but on our very first drive, the mount failed completely. The Starlink antenna flew off the roof while driving, and we were unable to recover it. That’s a total loss of a critical (and expensive) piece of equipment for anyone relying on connectivity on the road.To make matters worse, there is no way to contact the manufacturer. No support, no accountability, no replacement. We were left to repurchase both the antenna and an entirely new mount from a different brand, at our own expense.Key warnings for others:Do not trust this mount for RV travel, even if it looks solid at install. There is no safety redundancy—once it goes, it’s gone. There’s zero customer support to help if something goes wrong. We travel full-time and were counting on this setup to be reliable. It failed spectacularly, and we hope others don’t have to learn the hard way like we did. Spend the extra time and money upfront for a proven mount—this one cost us far more in the long run.

This is a good solid mount that won't allow your Starlink to fly away in the wind. I just completed a 4000+ mile trip across the southwest with high winds at times with it mounted to the roof of my RV the whole time. The mount is made of solid cast aluminum that will not break like some of the plastic competitors. It has a positive securing mechanism that fits securely into the Starlink antenna and locks into place with two torx screws. Even without the screws being tightened, it is difficult to slide it out of the mount. To remove the antenna easier, I fabricated a tool from a heavy duty paint stirrer that allows me to stick it in and give a twist to disengage the lock instead of hurting my thumb. I think some are selling similar tools made from plastic for that purpose. If you use it as designed, it will not allow your antenna blow away which has happened to some of the higher priced competitors mounts according to reports on forums. The only potential weakness of this mount is how you mount it to your roof. It needs to be mounted similar to how you would mount a solar panel. I used 1/4" well nuts to secure it on my roof which has held all of my solar panels for 6 years now and is holding this mount securely for me.This is exactly the same mount you can buy directly from Starlink and it is the best because they designed it for mobile use with the Gen 3. This has the tilt that Starlink designed in to keep rain from puddling and for pointing it in the correct direction. I just park wherever I have a mostly clear sky and it still works without pointing. I can remove the antenna by climbing on top of the roof if I have to park under trees.
