I ordered one of each color of these julep cups. I was especially curious about the black one since I couldn't quite imagine how it would look from the online photo. Picture in your mind a silver cup which has been held over a sooty candle flame until it is smoothly and evenly coated -- it isn't really black, it isn't really gray, and it isn't really silver. It's not unattractive, but it's kind of a shadow of its silver self. These cups are about the size of a red Solo cup, just slightly shorter and slightly fatter. Each cup is well weighted through its base and is comfortable to hold. If you're looking for your ideal in a classic design for a julep cup, you and your guests will be pleased by these Barfly cups.Additional Info: I couldn't review each color separately, so will add that I was most disappointed by the Gold color. It had more of an "Old Gold" look and was less rich in tone than the Copper and the Silver. The gold would look better with three more gold cups beside it than it does in comparison with the Copper or Silver.

We used it as cocktail table vase, the quality is great and the details is fine. People think it must be expensive. Even if it is used as a cup, I don't see it's any less than a pottery barn silver cup.
