I got these for a road trip, I had hear some reviews that they made a terrible noise. I have only noticed a little whistling sound. It’s not super loud, but we blast the ac for kids getting car sick 99% of the time we are in the car so it doesn’t really bother us anyway.

Holes didn’t line up as well as could’ve and there is a wind noise with them mounted.

I installed these on a 2023 GMC Acadia. Front bar fits perfectly, while the rear bar is slightly long and is a squeeze to get in place. The cast mounts have an angle that does not perfectly match the factory side rails at the rear. Everything did pull tight at the end though. The mounting bolts are black and I thought they would be prone to rust. After testing with a magnet, I will venture they are 410 alloy stainless steel with a black finish (rust resistant). One issue when installing is the horrible General Motors plastic plugs that have to be removed from your side rails. Catch one edge of the lip with a small screwdriver and bend it out. Now catch that lip with a pliers and unscrew. The caps are push in, but need to be unscrewed when removing. Before installing make sure you have a ratchet and two sockets. My mounting bolts were both Torx and Allen head. Trying to use the packaged kit wrenches for the job, will add a half hour or more. Bad language is also a possibility. My sunroof has plenty of room to fully open. On the road at 70MPH I hear nothing in the way of wind noise from the cross bars. All in all, I am happy with the bars.

Seems well made and strong. Went on easy! The pain was getting the little plastic caps off the rails! If they snap off, you can push them in to the rails with a small pick. Haven’t loaded them yet but they will support whatever I stick up there.
