I only used it once so far and it does the job for me. My eye sight is not real good and I don't have a chance seeing a target. This makes it easy, nice bright view even in low light. I put it on a camera tripod and I don't think I'd trade it for one with the eyepiece that points up on an angle - although that's a personal preference. Carrying case is sufficient. The little tripod works ok if your at a shooting table. I think it's a great value/function.

More than I expected, little troubled with focusing at 90X. Easiest way to focus is to focus at 30X and gradually zoom to 90X focusing at different points along the way. Need an extremely stable tripod to use effectively at 90X.

I purchased a Barska 30-x90x100 spotting scope at a price I could not beleive $323.00.I have been looking for a good scope for over a year,websites,department stores.I have done a lot of research looking for the right scope and this scope is fantastic.I live on the Canadian side of the St.Lawrence River and see great sites down the river and into the U S side of the river and following ocean vesels heading out to sea.This scope is the one for me.Ron
