The first battery I received was DOA (no voltage and would not accept a charge). Judging from the packing, I believe this battery have have been previously returned. Amazon quickly shipped the replacement battery.The replacement battery worked great right out of the box and the hardware was in a package instead of loose rattling around in the box.

Rather than use 7 Amp hour size battery that was original, I opted to replace with largest 12v Amp hour battery that still was affordable. This 20 Amp hour worked out great even though it came without terminal screws which I got at Ace hardware along with longer terminal leads so that I could have battery outside of my APC enclosure.

I’ve been researching a lot about lifepo4 batteries vs lead acid batteries and I stumbled across this one. I wanted something small and compact and also something that had a good amount of battery /power. The battery itself is built well and also came with the screw terminals which I prefer over the tabbed one. I’ve been testing the battery and it’s been surpassing my expectations

I’ve been hesitant to make the change to lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4), but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this battery!Super lightweight, quick charging, and quality terminals make this a great value.

I. can't comment on the long term performance of this battery but what I can say is:1. it came fully charged. 13.4 volts. (I don't think it's supposed to. I think lithium batteries are supposed to be shipped with about 30% charge.)2. I tested the energy capacity using a Kill-a-Watt meter and an inverter. It's supposed to have an energy storage capacity of about 240 WHr. I measured it at about 235 WHr, within the accuracy range of the meter.3. The capacity is strongly dependent on how you connect your electrical leads. If you use alligator clips, don't expect max energy delivery. Use good 12 AWG or 10 AWG wire and good lugs.4. Test results indicate that the battery can deliver 220 watts for about an hour. So the current specs prove out. However, realize that 220 watts is pretty much the upper limit that the battery can deliver.5. Be careful in charging the battery. When I hooked it up to my Victron 12v Smart battery charger, the charger supplied about 280 watts, or about 23 amps. This is too much for this battery. I switched to a vintage transformer charger that supplied about 80 watts maximum, or about 6.5 amps.
