Good quality, heavy mixing paddle. It is not quite as big as the original which means i do have to scoop the sides of the bowl manually. It fits on perfectly, but did not work with the little spring my husband installs to make the originals less wiggly. Very sturdy, but i think it would fit the 5qt best.

I like that this KitchenAid attachment is stainless steel easy to clean and dishwasher safe. However, on the 6qt KitchenAid Pro, it doesn’t quite reach the sides, which is a bit odd. The metal itself has a couple of small divots, so it seems like the manufacturing process wasn’t perfectly uniform, but overall, it feels solid. The biggest surprise is the gap between the spinner and the sides as it’s pretty spacious, somewhere between a third to half an inch

This beater perfectly fits my very old KA-5 bowl-lift mixer. The mixer is old enough to have a 2-pronged power cord and Hobart on the label. None of the listings I see ever mention compatibility with this particular 5-qt bowl model, but this paddle works great. I am very happy with this product, as I no longer worry about the peeling white coating from my original beater.

This beater is great in stainless (healthy and nothing to flake off) but lacking in width for a KitchenAid Lift Mixer. It's nowhere close enough to the edges to scrap and that's the point. I ended up scraping with a spatula for it.I did have a knock-off stainless bowl that is narrow and tall, and this beater happens to work with that. However, I'm the exception and most need it for their original mixer bowl.
