Comfortable and breathable. These were the two reasons I gave 3 stars. I don't think it is tight enough or strong enough of material to actually be a great shaper. It slightly shapes you. I also did not car for the chest region. My breast's tend to float over in it and I have to adjust. If you are looking for comfortability over shaping, then this is the suit for you.

This is a super deep plunging body suit/slip to go under your dress or shirt. It’s true to size and made well, as to be expected from BCBG. It stays put under your clothes and allows for support in outfits with a nice, deep plunging neckline. The piece is what I expected to pay for something like this.

I'm between a L/XL and ordered the XL in this bodysuit. For the price, I do wish that there was the option of adjustable cup sizes you could select from. I think those above a D will struggle with fitting into the bra portion of this suit. There is also relatively little side-breast support.I do enjoy the lower half more. I'd call this medium compression and it is flattering across the stomach and thighs. It's not mentioned in the description, but there is an open gusset.

This did not provide body shaping for me, there is no boning, and it wasn't enough compression. I kind of felt like it almost accentuated my post-partum belly and made it seem rounder somehow! It is sexy looking though with the plunge neckline and being black, the top part fit ok. There is a hole in the crotch that I guess is for using the bathroom if you have to pee, but I wouldn't want to it seems like it would get all around the sides and also, you'd have to wear it without underwear to use the hole. I guess it's better than not having any opening.

This shaper works pretty well, though isnt quite as sliming in the waist as I'd like. It lifts my breasts nicely (I have DD so thats something) and makes my butt look nice though!stats: ordered size small34dd, 125lbs, 5'4"
