This has been a great little first bow for my son. It’s light, easy to pull back, adequate draw length for his size (he’s almost 6) and a good value. The only component that’s a bit finicky is the pin which tends to loosen. This becomes a bit of a challenge for helping him get the concept of sight picture. However, I like that it’s safe for him to use and pick up because a dry fire won’t destroy the bow. My whole aim was to get him excited about shooting and this paired with some practice tipped arrows that stick through a cardboard box has done the trick!

Great starter bow. Gives the little ones a chance to learn without the frustration of trying to keep the arrows from falling off the bow

My boys love the bows, easy to use. Neither one came with the quiver or arm guards that they were supposed to come with. I ordered two of these bows and the first time I received one of these bows and a right handed (non-ambidextrous) bow that was nothing like the other. Had to order another of these bows and received the correct one the second time, but again, has no quiver or arm guards, so I’ll have to spend additional money for those.

I bought this to introduce my granddaughter to archery, as a step up from those plastic play bow-and-arrow toy sets. This isn't a toy. It's a bow. It's ambidextrous -- which is a huge plus since GD is left-handed, and when she outgrows it I can give it to my grandson or another kid for more enjoyment. Or she can shoot it with a right-handed friend and they can have fun together. It's a perfectly safe little "plinker" bow with low draw weight. You can have them shoot it at like 10 or 20 yards, to teach them form and let them get used to drawing a bow with proper bow etiquette and form, handling arrows, and having fun in the back yard or at the archery range. It comes with 3 safety arrows already. I bought a few more at our local Academy store, plus a little hip quiver (as others have stated it did not come with one), and she's good to go now. She'll probably outgrow it in a year or two, but that's fine, and I'll upgrade her to a Genesis probably at that point.I haven't figured out how to adjust the draw weight (I don't think it's possible), but that's fine too, for our purposes it's good enough as-is.It's not very accurate, but that's fine too, she's not shooting competitions, this is literally just a beginner bow for very basic beginner things. She was putting arrows reliably on the paper target I bought, which made her happy, which made me happy, and it's all good. Can't beat it for the price, and it's purple which is her favorite color.Great way to get your kid outdoors and introduce them to archery for a small investment.

The bow is great, 2nd one we have gotten. But there was no quiver or forearm guard.
