This floor was put in our 50x50 playpen. Whenever she fell backward, we heard that ‘thump’. Not as thick as I had hoped for it to be for an infants falling backwards learning to sit up. The color and size were great. Easy to clean and foldable. I recommend for infants learning to sit up and standing up put a little foam padding underneath. Peace of mind .

Definitely not a PAD, there is no padding. There are grippers on the bottom, it does slide around in the 50x50 play pen. We used a rug underneath the play pen for padding and used one of these mats for inside, was better than the slippery material of the play pen.
