I owned a name brand air fryer years ago, and didn't love it. I didn't understand the hype and got rid of it. I decided to try this one from Bella because the pans I've tried from them have been nice, but I wasn't sure what to expect here.Well, I finally get why people are obsessed with air fryers. I don't know if air fryer technology has gotten better over the years, or if this one is extra great, but I'm pleasantly surprised. This thing heats up quick. The fans (fan?) are epic and circulate the air around so my food ends up cooking fast, crisping up beautifully. It's kind of like a pressure cooker that gets stuff crispy instead of watery.Clean up is super easy. Before cooking, I just spray a little oil inside this and then everything rinses off beautifully (I use regular corn oil in a spray bottle). This is a nonstick inside, so I imagine you'll need to treat it like most nonstick items. I personally won't put the tray in the dishwasher and I won't use abrasive sponges or cleaners. If the coating peels regardless of me being careful, I'll make sure to update. It makes a sound when it's running (due to the aforementioned fans) but it's the noise level of a regular fan, not like some intense AC unit level of sound.I love the shape and design of this too. It looks better on my countertop than the bulky one I had previously, but I might end up putting it in my pantry between dinners. I got the oat milk color since that's all that was available when I picked mine, and it's a nice color, but I wish I could have had the seaglass or blossom color. Those look so pretty!Anyway, if you're on the fence about this, I highly recommend it. If you're the main cook in the house, you 'll be thanking yourself. I don't have to stand over a hot pan splattering with oil. It's one less thing to keep an eye on while I'm making dinner. The air circulation heats/browns my food evenly, so it's a "set it and forget it" situation. For the meatballs in my picture, I did pull the basket out halfway through and gave it a quick shake but that's easy. I can focus on making a side dish (or catching up on dishes) while my meat or veggie gets air fried in this thing.I know it sounds like I'm being over the top with my love for this thing, but it's seriously already made my cooking life so much better, and it's not even summer yet. Once it's summer, I think I'll be yelling from the rooftop about how much easier cooking is with this.I like cooking, but after a long day of work it can feel like a chore. Having an appliance that makes it quicker and easier to cook while still giving my food the texture and taste of stove frying/sautéing is like magic.Between the build quality and the performance, this is definitely a great value in my opinion (under $100 at the time of this review).

We are still new in learning air frying. We bought a small ceramic coated one and immediately fell in love with it and needed a second one for additional dishes (e.g. roasted potatoes/veggies in one, meat in another). Food cooks better when the basket is not overcrowded and air can circulate. We definitely wanted an air fryer with ceramic coating, as according to my research, baskets often start flaking. Not this one, hopefully! This Bella air fryer is very quiet and the basket with the ceramic coating very easy to wash (literally just 1-2 minutes in hot soapy water even after meat dishes). The buttons are easy to use, yet I often accidentally turn it off rather than start it, but it will be learned later on, for sure. A full bag of Orange Chicken from TJ needed couple of minutes LESS time than the package stated. Chicken breasts ( - just coat with thin layer of olive oil and add your spices - ) and pork tenderloin needed 2-3 MORE minutes of time comparing to our smaller air fryer. Not a big deal, just part of the learning process. After having tried this one a few times, we have decided to keep it. Air fryers take are quick, are extremely easy to use, and should even show up in the next electricity bill. No need to preheat! Why did we wait so long to try? I will start going through a cook book I ordered from Amazon and today I googled up chicken tikka and chicken satay recipes. We have a fun food year ahead.

Performed as advertised. Love the oatmeal color. Not as small as I thought it would be, but smaller than some that take up too much space.
