As an outdoor - loving gal, I'm thrilled to share my experience with the uv jacket. The material is impressively lightweight and breathable. I wore it on a hot cycling day, and it kept me cool without any stuffiness. The design is a win too - it fits well, flatters the figure, and has a useful pocket. And I'm confident my skin is shielded from UV rays. Whether hiking or gardening, this jacket is now my top pick. It's a perfect blend of breathability, sun protection, and style.

While i find this shirt to be soft and silky, my biggest complaint is the hood. The hood is really odd and heavy. I think it’s meant to act as a visor but the rigid stiffness of hood is odd and slightly uncomfortable when i’m not using the hood.I am also disappointed about how see through the white color is.. typically white is more see through than other colors but i didn’t expect this to be so sheer. The model in the product pictures is wearing a black shirt underneath the white color option.. you can’t see through this on the model.. but in person, this is very sheer.However, the quality is decent. The $35/40 price point seems a little high for what you get. This is pretty basic. But it is constructed well. It does help with UV protection and is breathable. As far as functionality, it’s nice.Overall, there’s nothing super negative about this top. It is comfortable and i can deal with the hood. It does work well for a visor. This top is soft and is made well.Overall, it’s not my favorite but it is a nice product 👍Thank you so much for reading my review 💜

I ordered this in my usual size which is small (I’m 5’2” and 122 lbs) and this runs very tight. I can wear it with a sports bra but not even with a thin t-shirt. It’s also so thin that the hood really weighs the whole garment down. I do appreciate the sun protection and light color. I own a fair amount of UPF clothing so this is being compared to a wide variety of similar items and is not something I reach for first. However, if you size up one to two sizes or are very slim, I’m sure this will fit better but that still doesn’t change the lack of fabric weight that I expect to see in a hoodie.

This is a great sun jacket. I find that physical barriers work better for me than sunscreen. I don’t like how sunscreens feel on my skin, and a UPF fabric barrier is nicer and also more reliable against the sun (and you never have to reapply).This fabric on this jacket is soft and breathable. I haven’t had a chance to try it out in super hot weather yet (it has only gotten up to 70), but it feels breathy so far. I will update this review once the summer days start getting really hot.I like the thumb holes so that your hand is also mostly protected from the sun. The collar zips up so that you can cover your lower face- goes relatively comfortably above my nose, or can be pulled under your nose. It feels like, wearing a fabric mask. I am not sure how much I will actually use the face covering function. I normally do put sunscreen on my face, but if I am in a scenario where the ground is reflective then I might use the face covering.I like the idea of the built-in hat brim, but in practice it is not big enough for me and I will still wear my big sun hat. The brim is about the size of those little biking hats that go under helmets.I do lie that the hood protects your ears but also has a ponytail hole!I found the jacket to fit fine and true to size: I am 5’6’’ and 125lbs and usually wear a size small, and a size small in this jacket fit as expected.

This is a great lightweight jacket designed to protect you from the sun when it is too warm for a sweatshirt, or something more bulky would hinder your activity. It fits perfectly and conforms to your body movements. There are good sized thumb holes, which help keep the sleeves in place during exercise and movement. It’s amazing how breathable the specially formulated cooling material is! It is designed so that sweat will not soak through, even during exercise. Wearing this Beneunder lightweight jacket is so much more comfortable than slathering on sunblock and it features UPF 50+ sun protection! A great way to avoid all that mess that sunblock causes. That’s especially important to me, as I am always afraid of sunburn or sun exposure; and have made countless messes of everything around me when applying and wearing sunblock.The jacket is perfectly washable and even after multiple washes does not lose its UPF 50+. The care instructions can be found under the item description online. Please note that as this item is from China, the clothing tags for materials and care are in Chinese.The special features are very handy. These include a stiff bill feature at the top of the hood, so that it can be pulled up to act as a cap; mesh sections so that the jacket will form a mask when zipped all the way up; extra ventilation in places like the armpits where sweat is more likely to be heavy; a stylish shape to the back; and of course a hood!I needed this jacket years ago, but am glad to have discovered it now.
