Bring back your childhood memories, or gift this to a friend. It's also great for those summer days when you want to keep your kiddos busy outside. This is a complete story set; the mallets need just to be screwed together, which is not difficult; you could keep them as they are shipped but could also use a bit of wood glue to make it a one-time job if you have the storage space. The set has hoops, balls, and mallets in a bag, making it easy to move or keep together. If you are older, you will remember this as a summertime obsession. This a great set, not expensive and appears to be well made. I would say once instructed even 8 and ups, to elders could play this game.

Used this for a family activity over the weekend and it was a big hit. Introduced the next generation to the fun of a family croquet tournament and this set is just perfect! Only wish it had a stand or a bigger bag as the parts don’t fit in the bag that comes with the set.

This is an inexpensive, lightweight set that could hold up quite well if used carefully. It's not sturdy--but I gave it 4 stars overall considering the low price and attractive design and finish. The mallets are very light and I wouldn't expect them to survive rough use. The threads on the handle and head are wooden--no metal or plastic sleeve. You'll find that the heads need frequent tightening. This could be fixed by gluing the handle to the head. The wickets are flimsy and easily bent--but these can be replaced. The end caps on the mallet heads are plastic, not rubber as advertised.The 32" mallet handles are longer than those in some other sets, which makes them more suitable for adult use. The set has a clean and bright finish. Overall, it's a good value and fun to use. For leisurely recreational use, I'd recommend it.

This is a great set! The bag is is too small to easily put everything into it after the clubs are put together so that is not awesome but the quality of the game is great.
