Can't say I've ever written more than a handful of reviews and it takes a product to be either really good or really bad for me to do so. These "BestEquip Scaffolding Wheels Set of 4, 8" - Scaffolding Casters Heavy Duty, 4400 Lbs Per Set" fit in the first category in that they are really good! First impression came when I picked up the box left by the carrier - they are quite heavy and weigh every bit of the claimed 45 lbs. and I associate this with being well built. I purchased them for use on a large 20' scaffold tower. My scaffold tower is huge and heavy but with these wheels it rolls smoothly and the locking mechanism works flawlessly. For the money, these wheels have me impressed and pleasantly surprised. So many products these days are pure junk but not these wheels. They get a solid 5 stars from me.

I liked that the hubs are cast metal and not plastic like some other equally priced wheels we purchased right before these. The other set of 4, all failed, split apart 1 week after installing them. These are great and heavy duty with tough seems to be nylon or betyer wheel liners.

These are pretty nice wheels for the price. Wish they came with the pins too.

The only thing I don't like about the wheels is that they do not have any grease fitting on the wheels or the swivel bearings.

I purchased these 4 wheels for some old scaffolding I recently got from a neighbor. They only had feet with no wheels and my current project on a new cement floor will require moving many times while constructing the metal building as there are two large buckets of bolts to install. They arrived with the box in bad shape but as I expected, these wheels and swivels plus brakes etc. were well made and tough so they were not hurt in the least. I will start getting the holes drilled in the scaffolding to pin them in this week. Having handled and set the brakes I am confident that there will be zero problems with anything once I get them on. As a retired Millwright I have worked with many well made and some not so well made products. These were a good price for something I am VERY pleased with. Having now installed the wheels, I ran into a problem not with the wheels but with the scaffolding that is likely over 50 years old. The bottom "Leg" is so short that the grease zerk and the brake lock lever hit and don't allow the wheels to rotate around horizontally. I will be adding about an inch of leg that I will weld on, but the pins will be in the original structure but an inch lower. Again, NOT a problem with the wheels in any way. Photo shows first mount with leg too short.
