I chose this light blue folder for its color, which is true to the photo. It's what I call "country blue." I can easily write on the glossy exterior using a sharpie pen. Ink pens don't want to write as well. My only complaint is that the interior packets aren't stapled in the center, so paper could slide out. In our business, I use different colored folders for each category of tax receipts. This lovely blue is different from the ho-hum, standard drab colors typically offered. The folded shut measurements are: 11-5/8" tall by 9-1/4" wide. I highly recommend this sturdy, folder.
