A customer brought in a little Red Ryder wagon and needed some new (well, new to him, anyway) wheels put on. The retainers were almost impossible to remove without damage (I had to cut one off) and I had no idea WHAT these things were called! Huh... "star lock washers"... who'dathunk it? Anyway, the 12mm washers in this kit are a little smaller on the outside diameter, so I couldn't reuse the red caps (not that they were reusable anyway) but these pressed on easily with a deep well socket and a few light taps from a hammer. They seem to hold tight and snug.We had another customer come in after I ordered these with an axle and two wheels off a lawn wagon that needed tubes. Funnily enough, he needed these exact same retainers, so ... yeah!
