big and spacious lots of pockets including one for pointe shoes and other shoes.

I know this is out of the norm, but for my needs as an adult student of ballet and jazz, it is just a bit too big. I'm sure for younger dancers who are taking multiple classes a day or at least many classes a day, this would be perfect. I love the design, but just wished it was between a normal messenger bag size and this extra large size.

We chose this bag because it was one of the few with a ventilated pocket for toe shoes. We thought it was a bit large for our 11-year-old, but she loved it, so we guess all is well. Restrained styling. The trend here in SE Florida seems to be away from classic bags toward large, stylish messenger bags, but our Tiny Dancer (who attends a school of the arts) was pleased, so...

After less than two months of use, this bag is falling apart. Two zippered compartments have come apart at the seams, the little padded piece on the shoulder strap is shredded, and the main plastic clasp is in pieces. Yes, it has been used heavily (5-6 days a week), but it hasn't received any unusual use or abuse. My son's previous bag (from another company) lasted him about four years and was in far better shape than this bag after two months.Positives? It's large (great size for dancers with multiple classes per day who need several changes of clothes and shoes). We liked the simple black styling and the mesh pockets.But if the bag is in pieces, none of those things much matter.I absolutely expected more from Bloch!
