I take adult ballet and this is the perfect slipper. I wear a size 8 in regular shoes. I followed the sizing guide and ordered a size 6. I sometimes think I should have ordered a 5.5, but the 6 is just fine.

These ballet shoes are okay. It is hard to find a size that fits right, they are not snug and have loose areas in the front, no matter what size you get them in.

These shoes are perfectly fine for beginners with smaller arches. I find the full sole is difficult to maneuver. The leather is also very stiff.I ordered 4 pair before I found the correct fit and I even measured per the instructions. For reference, I am a street 9 and the 6 regular was the right fit for me. I would recommend measuring your foot and ordering the size above and below. Also, I recommend ordering at least 2 weeks before you need them to allow return and reorder time. I would also recommend a split sole, canvas shoe to this one but that is personal preference.

I tried to save $5 by ordering a pair that looked similar and had good reviews. Well the other pair did not fit right and had thinner material. So happy I returned those and ordered these instead. Go two sizes down from your ordinary sneaker size and it will be perfect! I only wear these for yoga and similar workouts. The elastic ties adjust easily and it is enough without having to cut a bunch of it off. Like the description states there is no split sole but still flexible enough for what I need. Interior fabric is also smooth against the foot, seams are smooth too and constructed well. These are more pointy across the front than other ballet shoes I have had. Doesn't matter to me really but might make a difference for someone wearing for a performance where all shoes need to look the same. Might mold to my foot after wearing them more.
