I started to give a four-star rating as I tried to be stingy with five / one star ratings but, I couldn't think of a single reason why this didn't deserve five stars. It's a quality built lock the material used for the mount is a good strong steel given the metal the lock is made out of as well as it's coated / sealed with "paint" will definitely go a ways against rust. It's a good thick lock but not oversized it's got a good fit and it sets snugly in the mount. Given the fact that the cost of this entire kit is about the same as what it would cost you just to buy this level of quality / security in a lock, it's easily a value for the money. I've seen the other reviews on this lock calling it a wafer lock and saying because of that it is low security / easily defeated and opened up... That is just absolutely flat out inaccurate this is what is known as a dimple lock or specifically a dimple lock with smiley face keyway these are good locks dimples are generally considered higher security even if they only contain standard driver pins and they're also a European style so they're not as common here in America and a lot of people don't even know what they're looking at when they see it so it would definitely be more intimidating to someone thinking about trying to defeat this lock as the element of the unknown or never seen before, would generally be enough to turn away a would be thief.
