These are party intended to make it easier to remove your vanes if they get damaged. The problem is that they're too good at that job and vanes will just tear off through normal use. I shoot with a whisker biscuit and two arrows lost vanes in about an hour of shooting. They didn't just detach from the wrap; they took a strip of the wrap with them, indicating that the glue wasn't the problem. Fortunately they are easy to remove, so I redid all of my arrows...the next time without wraps.

Love how these make my FMJ easton arrows look..definitely makes it easier to find your arrows / see them hit the target from extended distances...ill never shoot FMJS without them...worth it!
