Much more costly in pet, big-box store. My poodle is addicted to these. She’s a miniature, perfect size. Easy to throw in house or yard. In house, light enough not to mar or knock down books, lamps, furniture. They just lightly bounce off. They never mar walls or other surfaces. The “spikes” are soft, no sharp points. We use them till they lose the light/squeaker part inside. She later sits and chews on the spikes, in a tranquil mood.

I have purchase several times.Great for night playing, good thick quaility, very durabile.She has not been able to chew them apart.Only thing is the lights do go out quickly

My dog is 80 pounds, and loves playing fetch/soccer. He enjoys these balls a lot because they are just the right Chewiness and elasticity, but mostly he likes the squeaks. Unfortunately, he messes those squeakers up in just a few days, still better than a cheaper brand of balls like these without the flashy light (they only squeaked for a few hours of play). The flashy light is fun at first, but he breaks that pretty quick. It is rare the circuitry stays intact for more than a day.
