I haven't tested this in a fire and I hope never too, but I like the space for the price and the mobility. It looks like a bag to put in emergency necessities to grab and run away from any fire or emergency with.

After watching people who had to evacuate their homes with no time to figure out what to take was the nudge I needed to prepare go bags. And aside from evacuation, I needed to prepare for fire. I purchased a larger bag for important documents but needed one for my valuables. This one worked perfectly and has both handles and a shoulder strap. Other reviews with fireproof bags mention odd feeling fabric ... It has been fireproofed. If any regular fabric worked, it wouldn't need treatment.

This fireproof safe is lightweight and holds lots of documents. I put in my will and trust binder, house papers, jewelry estimates, passports, birth and death certificates, etc. It holds a lot of stuff but is lightweight.

Exactly what we needed for our Will (in binder form) and all the documents for titles, deeds,life insurance estate plans, Funeral, cemetary and Church instructions, etc. etc. so that all information is in one place for those who need to know and act on our behalf! Perfect amount of space inside and in pockets. Plus some peace of mind that it is fire/water resistant!
