I purchased 3 over the past month and the locking mechanism for the first install has given out after 3 weeks and can no longer support the 12" Voolan Rain Shower Head it was purchased with. It did not give me confidence at installation as it did not seem to have a lock only a wing nut type twist lever to tighten the extension arm. I did work for the 3 weeks it has been in use but it has now worn out with any adjustments at other than installation. I am Very Disappointed and must now resort to a local hardware store to purchase a replacement if I want to use the shower.

I ordered this again because the first one I ordered had a swivel top connection. The picture on the brushed chrome version shows "paddle" tighteners on the two swivel joints plus a rotating top connector that can be held in position with a hex screw - this was true of the first one I ordered The second one, although the picture shows it the same as the original one with the hex screw top connector, did not include the hex screw top connector and was almost impossible to install such that the extension lined up vertically as needed, yet did not leak. Beware, the item delivered is not what is shown in the picture. I attached a picture from the online description. The item delivered did not have the adjustable top connector as shown, and had smaller double sided toggles.

I’m not a handyman but the instructions helped me to easily install. Water pressure is the same when I didn’t have it. I believe it was one of the cheapest products when compared to others. The teflon tape that was included isn’t the best but there was plenty of it for this DIY. My shower head is small and light so I don’t know the sturdiness of it because I don’t have anything heavy like a shower rack on it.
