These are excellent for storing those holiday/winter towels or clothes for the off season. They're huge bags that close nicely. Just be sure to carry them with a hand on the bottom so the handle does rip.

I have a bunch of seasonal items that I rotate through but limited space in closets, so I’ve resorted to putting some stuff in the attic. Bins are good but somehow some still get bugs and I definitely don’t want that in my fabric. These bags are great! They fit under the bed laying down, so I’ve got the seasonal bedding for each bed under the beds instead of in the attic. They’re clear so you can tell quickly what’s in them, too

Most people are probably using these for storage or transport, but I'm going to talk about something different.Decluttering is harder than some people (*cough cough* MOM) might seem to think. It's hard to let go of things that have been hanging around for a long time, even though logically you know you don't need (or really even WANT) them anymore. Even if you do reach the point of saying "I'm ready to let this go," you don't want to put a perfectly good item in the trash, but you don't want to sell or donate something that's dusty either. So you set it aside to clean it up, or think of who might want it, and there it sits for another month or two. And the more you handle it, the more you "recharge" that silly emotional connection to it, making it more tempting to just keep it "a little longer... just in case."But these bags are SOOOO helpful in dealing with all those things. First of all, they're huge. You could probably fit your annoying ex in one of these, but that would be both unwise and possibly illegal. They're also thick - they're not likely to come apart or split at the seams unless you're filling them full of bowling balls or something. And, of course, they're see-through, which is the best part.So when you're organizing or decluttering, you can take the things that you know you need to get rid of but just aren't quite ready to part with yet - get them nice and clean for the yard sale that's going to make you rich or the donation to charity that's going to get you nominated for sainthood - then tuck them neatly into these see-through, sturdy, spacious storage bags. They'll stay dust-, insect-, smoke-, hair-, and general-yuck-free, nice and clean, even out there in the garage or in the closet where the cats like to sleep. In a month or two, you can pick up the bag, easily see everything that's in it WITHOUT HANDLING IT and feeling any of the old emotions that might still be connected to it, look at it all without directly touching it and say, "Yep! That all goes to the sell/donate/trash pile!"Then hand it off to someone else before you get a chance to reconsider - but make sure they keep these bags! Because they're fantastic and you'll want to keep them around for next time. (We all know there's going to be a next time. It's okay.)Or you can also use them for winter clothing, linens, seasonal decorations, and stuff like that if you're an emotionally well-adjusted person who doesn't need to declutter twice a year, I guess.Anyway, the bags are great, buy some!

These large storage bags are made of thick plastic. They have a very strong double zip seal. Because the seal is so effective, I can overstuff the bag, compress the contents and then seal it up, without having to worry about the bag popping open. The bags are excellent for storing large, soft items, like blankets, pillows and linens. They can hold clothes, but the handle will tear if you load the bag with heavier items. The box the bags come in suggests you can "stand and fill" the bags, but they are not self-standing at all. Even if you put something in the bottom of the bag to stabilize it, the top part flaps over. It doesn't stay open. But you can hang the bag from a door knob, so that it hangs open and you can fill it hands-free that way. I also use the handle to hang the bags in the closet.this makes them great as garment bags. They protect clothes from dust and moths. The transparency of the bags lets me see everything inside. With boxes, you have to label them in order to remember what's inside, then you have to rip off your box tape to get inside. I like to be able to see what I need, open the bag and then press it closed again.Because they are pliable, the bags take up much less room than boxes and can squeeze into the tight corners of my trunk.

I have previously reviewed the Large size of this same item so I included that review below. The same review applies here except I would add that the Jumbo size would be even better for large items such as athletic equipment, comforters, oversized bedding, etc. I have included a picture so you can see the difference between the Large and the Jumbo size. The Jumbo is not quite twice as large. These bags are so versatile when it comes to storing just about anything. They seal well so they will keep out dirt and water if you need to store something in the garage or attic. I use these for everything but mostly clothing, bedding and linens just to keep them fresh during storage. They have no smell and have a handle to carry them. The Large bags are very big and hold quite a bit depending on what you are storing. I could fit many T-shirts in one but less if they are fluffy sweaters, pillows, etc. I like to use flexible bags instead of a large plastic box because these fold flat if not in use and you can fit them in a closet or smaller area instead of having to store an empty box which takes up a fixed amount of space.I have not had any luck at all with vacuum bags and they tend to be big and unwieldy even with the air pushed out so I have started only using the zip style bags. I have had a hard time finding any this large. These are just the right size to keep things clean and dry in storage. Also a plus is that these are clear so you can see instantly what is in it and you can place labels on them describing the contents. These are strong, I don't see any issue with them ripping or tearing.I recommend these, especially if you have kids in college and grad school, like we do, and you constantly need to be packing their stuff and moving it somehere new. Makes it easy to sort stuff and load it in the car for moving or travel.
