This item Is okay. Tried it today. Good for super wet mud. For tuckpointing. Gets clogged easy

This thing doesn’t work at all. I made a thin mix and it would not push grout out. It needs pressure to work which it does not have. Total waste of money. Just learn the old school way which you still have to do anyway if it did work.

Yes, you do have to thin the mortar more when using this gun. You also need to use the drill/screwdriver at a slow speed so the mortar doesn't cavitate and not feed. The product should have this noted plainly so to avoid undesirable results. It should be kept close to level with a slight forward tilt to aid in mortal flow. If you follow these conditions, you should have a good experience using this device. I did.

It works if your grout without stone inside, stone will stuck and need to reload. Product feature need to improve.

Great quality for the price. This gun made my life 10 times easier. I used it today for a very first time to grout floor tiles. I removed the handle from the bottom so I could slide it directly on the floor with the smallest 12v Milwaukee drill attached. The only modification I had to do was attaching to a provided nozzle a 3/4” short piece of pex pipe with elbow pointing directly the floor. I also covered the end of the elbow with a piece of rubber hose to slide it firmly pressed over the tile joints. Amazing tool ! Fast and extremely clean grouting process. This thing was injecting the grout into the joints beautifully. I was able to fully control the process with the speed of the drill and peace of sliding the gun over the joint gaps. I assume the wall tiles are going to be even easier. Highly recommend this gun. I am not professional tile installer but if I was I could not imagine using anything else. The grout I mixed was quite thin and liquid but not too thin. I let it sit for about 10 minutes after injection and then was able to finish it with the sponge. I really am impressed with the tool ,and nobody is paying me for the review.
