I replaced my outside garage lights with these and I can say Wow!! I motion sensor garage lights. These bulbs aren't really bright until the motion sensor detects something then they brighten up. So it's a soft medium light when on them full light when motion sensors kick in.

I use these in my hanging cage-lights next to my hummingbird feeders in the winter. They do an great job of keeping the nectar from freezing and the little hummers warm. The Amber "glow" is lovely and not too bright.

Purchased these for our room, they look beautiful in our Tiffany style lamps. They have a true vintage vibe. This is my first time using incandescent bulbs, I always used LEDS, and I notice a huge difference. Its cozy having these on before bedtime, makes it easy to wind down. I did see some reviews that mentioned them burning out. I haven't had any issues, I would just make sure that the lamp you're using matches the wattage of the bulbs! 10/10!
