Nice and bright, gave the appearance of a gentle snowfall through the windows (but speed can be adjusted). Outdoors it covered half of my house and created a perfect wintery scene. I used a second projector for the other half of my house. I've used other snowflake type projectors that only covered a very small space, this however was great - truly what I was looking for and would buy again.

Updated review of 2023 version:Previously I gave an overall positive review of the 2022 version except for the fact that it couldn't be used on a timer or smart switch, and it also didn't have a function to automatically turn it on each day. For the 2022 version you always had to use the remote to turn it on. Both of these problems have been fixed in the new version I purchased from them in late 2023. Now whenever plugged in or turned on with a smart switch the unit will start up automatically. The 2023 version's timer function will also start it up automatically the next day. So both of the previous problems I had with this product have now been fixed and I'm very happy with it. The color of the 2023 version is slightly different, it's a little lower on the Kelvin scale (a little more antique white instead of bright white) but that's just a fairly minor difference. Overall a great product!Previous review of 2022 version:I used this snowfall projector outside as a holiday light decoration for our house. The falling snow effect looks great and is very attractive. It covers a fairly wide area on the house. I really like the way it looks. The projector is very bright. Overall I'm very pleased with how it looks when it's running.However this projector must always be turned on manually using a button on the remote. There is no other way to turn it on. It' can't be set to turn on each night automatically. It always has to be manually turned on using the remote. It does not turn on when it is first plugged in (so you can't use a smart switch to control it or turn it on). It does have a function on the remote that can be enabled where it will automatically turn off after a certain number of hours. But it will not automatically turn on again the next night, you have to manually turn it on with the remote again.If I could change something about this product I would have it automatically turn on when it was first plugged in. That would allow it to be used with a smart switch.One other problem that I've had with it is that a couple of times it has "frozen" and the falling snowfall effect stopped. It still kept projecting, but the moving falling snow effect stopped. It started up and ran correctly again the next time it was turned on. I no longer use the slower snowfall effect speeds because of this problem and I'm hoping that using the normal fastest speed might possibly help keep this from happening again.

Works quite well, and produces a very nice effect. The projection is wide enough to cover an average house from a fairly short distance, and bright enough to be very visible. The remote and timer functions are very handy and work well at a surprising distance for an IR remote.Overall, I'm impressed with the quality of the product, especially coming from China. I purchased a similar snowflake projector at the same time that worked so poorly I returned it, but this one is a keeper. I've only used it one season as I write this review, but if it holds up as I hope it will, it will be part of our outdoor Christmas decor for years. Based on only one year's use, highly recommended.

I LOVE this thing! As someone who is always complaining that we never get snow, we set it up indoors and it's the prettiest effect in a living room or bedroom for relaxing. We can't wait to set it up outside around Christmas time as part of our Christmas lights. The remote control makes it VERY easy to use and has a couple of different settings to set the vibe, and the angled lawn stake helps you put it anywhere for a great snow falling effect. We are going to buy these as gifts -- especially for our friends in Arizona!
