I am very pleased with the well made construction quality, safety features and the high level of precision this saw provides. It’s like the “Mercedes” of saws and provides comfort and precision for woodworking projects.. the lightweight and the compact attributes of the saw makes it an excellent choice for handy home owners, contractors and hobbyists.. relatively quiet in comparison, well balanced when transporting, small footprint in the workshop.. excellent stability.. it was calibrated and didn’t need any adjustments.. it remained calibrated after a long-haul project..The saw arrived in perfect condition and well packed for shopping.

I bought this to augment a beast of a Dewalt miter saw that, for all of its virtues, lacks the capacity to slide. I ALMOST went with the Harbor Freight Hercules sliding miter saw when the Amazon algorithm spit this one out. With the sale price it was $40.00 less then Harbor Fright, and it is a Bosch. I have always been happy with Bosch tools, so I went for it. I have the Bosch set up on a portable miter saw stand.I had to do some minor tweaking out of the box, and started cutting pine and oak cabinet pieces. Very pleased with the accuracy. Not so pleased with the dust collection. The bag (included with the saw) offers the merest suggestion of dust collection. It wasn't much better hooked to a shop vac dust collection system. Not a huge deal, most miter saws have poor duct collection. The handle on the top got in the way of both the bag and the vac, so I might remove it.If you are looking for a saw to cut giant 6x6 fence posts, this isn't it. 2x4 stock is pretty much the limit. The included blade made short work of pine, and didn't struggle through oak. Good cut quality, probably would get better results with a specialty blade.Overall, very pleased.

Es una exelente máquina, antes de adquirirla toma en cuenta cales serán tus necesidades en canto al tamaño del disco, es compacta con una capacidad de corte bastante buena no astilla la madera, tiene varios detalles que brinda un plus a la hora de usarla estoy muy satisfecho con su desempeño, aclaro solo soy jovista.

Razón tres estrellas, me dirá no me gusto porque la manilla de presión es vertical no me acomodo a cortar, ya se ocurrio compra marca delwalt. La manilla debería horizontal sera buen agarre de la bajada y subida de cortes.

This saw is used on construction sites for finishing and framing. A smaller version of it's 12 inch big brother. It's lighter, easy to use and still has the power for all construction jobs. Awesome overall!!

Fantastic saw. Build quality is top-notch and certainly demands a premium price. Provides a straight cut every time. The mobility of this saw is difficult to find and one would expect to sacrifice other features to get the level or portability you get with this saw. Not the case here, however. The cross-cut capacity is just over 12", yet the saw can easily be transported with one-hand.

The saw is top quality in every aspect. The cut is accurate out of the box. All components are well designed and made. The saw is light weight, compact yet has very impressive cut capacity comparable to a 12-inch saw if you don't need to cut 4x4sComparing to other saws in its class (Makita or Hitachi 8 1/2 inch mitre saws), pros are:* Very good build quality (Hitachi's latest generation received tons of bad reviews)* Very good extension support (much better than Makita's "bare bars")* Large bevel lock lever* Carrying handle* Dust collection shroudBut it does lack a few bells and whistles, such as:* LED light* Laser guide* Soft start* Electric brakeThese are not that important to me, but may be a deal breaker for someone (a picky person, I guess?)
