A Detector That's Easy to Use
The detector is easy to use in small spaces and features an ergonomic design. A "traffic light" makes detection easy to understand: Green, nothing detected; orange, something is close; red, object detected.

Me parece que en mexico es muy raro que las constructoras brinden los planos exactos y/o sigan con precision la colocacion de tuberias por lo que si un inquilino quisiera colocar algo en paredes esta es una herramienta que evita que perfores ductos hidraulicos o electricos

This is a tool to have for me, in my opinion. My opinion means nothing, but it works for me.Will this be a great tool for you? It depends. If you need to locate just studs in a wall some DIY stuff…then there are more affordable options.If you are like me…installing car chargers and drilling through brick and concrete walls…this might give you a fighting chance along with having experience in the trades or engineering.For me, I couldn’t care about if an object in a wall is electrical (live/dead), gas, or plumbing. I just don’t want to hit it. I know studs are 16” or 24” on center roughly. I know gas, plumbing, electric usually ain’t uniformed in a wall. For me, I just want to hit a stud on a wall to mount something or drill through a cement/brick/drywall and not hit anything.I need a tool that will sound off about anything suspect in a wall. That’s it period.This is the best tool for that. 4” deep scan read on brick or cement wall is wicked good. There are $1k plus scanners that give percentage rates of failure but still no definitive yes or no’s.

No hay un solo lugar en en que no deje de sonar y es debido a que los muros de reciente construcción contienen aún mucha humedad y detecta esto en todos lados y no funciona lo probe en muros que están expuestos directo al sol y funcionó perfectamente pero ya en interiores de baño donde instale las Divisiones tazas y puertas fue completamente inútil así que si quieren hacer una instalación en interior serciorence que sea una construcción ya con un mínimo de un año de terminada considero que en ese tiempo los ladrillos ya estarán lo suficientemente secos para mí oficio que es en construcciónes nuevas no me sirvió para nada... y ya no lo pude devolver pues paso el tiempo para hacerlo

Funciona muy bienDetecta bien las tuberiasLo unico que no me gusta, es que no diferencia que material esta detectandoLa alarma es la misma si es un tubo de agua, si es na varilla o si es tuberia de luz. Fuera se eso, detecto todo muy bien.

Es bueno sólo para detectar metales. No detecta tubería de PVC con cableado dentro de muros de tablaroca.

Lo probé en una pared y se la pasaba pite y pite, como que había mil tubos dentro.Entonces lo pase por unos bloques sueltos que tengo y también se la pasaba pite y pite, le puse un tubo de cobre dentro y digamos que "si lo detectaba", pero también se ponía a pitar donde no había nada.Quizás sea más adecuado para tablaroca o madera, en bloques de concreto no lo recomiendo.
