So I had another, cheaper rotary hammer that I have used for years. It finally died. Thank goodness! - because this one is lighter, more powerful, and takes 1/2 the time to drill in concrete.

The Bosch Bulldog Hammer Drill isn’t just a tool—it’s a power-crazed beast that was probably forged in the depths of Mount Doom. You don’t use this drill; you unleash it. The moment you press the trigger, it’s like unleashing a jackhammer on steroids, and it’s here to chew through concrete and spit out perfectly drilled holes.Got a wall that refuses to cooperate? This drill will have it trembling in fear. It doesn’t ask for permission—it just bulldozes through anything in its path, like the Kool-Aid Man, but for home improvement. I’m pretty sure I saw sparks flying the first time I used it, and I’m 90% sure it growled at me when I tried to turn it off.The vibration from this thing is like holding onto a rocket, so make sure you’ve had your morning coffee, or this drill will wake you up faster than a double shot of espresso. And the sound? Let’s just say your neighbors will know you mean business. Expect them to drop by, asking if you’re starting a home demolition company. In summary, if you’re looking for a tool that laughs in the face of solid stone and makes your hand feel like Thor’s hammer, the Bosch Bulldog is your new best friend. Just don’t be surprised if it tries to break out of your tool chest at night. This thing was born to drill!

Me encanto este taladro 🤩, para hacer el trabajo pesado y agujeros mas grandes sin correr el riesgo de lesionarme la muñeca con un taladro mas pequeño con el que cuento igual de la marca Bosch.

I bought this drill after struggling with an old battery powered Dewalt cordless "hammer" drill. I would spend 10 minutes or more drilling with the old Dewalt and the bit wouldn't even move any deeper into the brick. I was sure I toasted the drill bit doing this. So I went at it with the Bosch when it arrived, using the same bit. The bit just sunk right into the brick, red dust pouring out as it cut in. This thing is awesome.Later I needed to install electric outlets outdoors, recessed into the brick. I bought the Bosch concrete chisel attachment (SDS 1 1/2") for this. Man, it was so easy to remove a brick using this tool, I'd say it took about 5 minutes to cut out a pocket for the new outlet. The chisel just sinks into the mortar (or brick, in spots where I drilled relief holes first). I was surprised too by how easy it is to control. I'll be using this drill later for removing tile in the basement. It's a very versatile tool, and tough as nails. I know a guy who has 4 of these for a kitchen business (they mostly use it for busting up old tile) and they've been through hell and back with no problems. I paid 162 dollars for the drill, it sells for 300 at Home Depot. At that price, this has to be one of the better tool purchases I've made to date.As far as being re-manufactured, there were some small cosmetic imperfections with the case the drill came in, but that's it. I didn't know it came with a case, so I was just happy it had one - and I don't care about cosmetics for something that will get scratched immediately when it is used.
