I'm very impressed by this pedal. You can do almost anything with it. It's super powerful, no latency can be detected. Even using a pitch shifter to change the tuning latency is barely noticeable. The chain of effects can be insanely complex. Two effect loops allow me to use a valved preamp (Friedman IR-X) with a 4-cable method, which gives me a complete high definition gear with just two pedals for recording or playing with an amp in stereo. The effects are great (I never felt like I missed a higher quality effect from the analog pedal I have). The only downside, IMO is the IR's they are terrible if you ask me. I tried the amps with another IR from another pedal, and the amp sounds are great. But the IR section of the chain is really bad. Doesn't sound real, doesn't sound nice, and regardless of what you do, the quality is always questionable. In my case, it doesn't bother me because I use the IR from the IR-X, which is MUCH better. But if you plan to use the GT1000 core alone, it's better to consider something like a Tonex or another amp simulator or IR to replace the one provided by the GT Core. I didn't try loading my own IRs into the pedal ,but it might be that this would fix this frustration I had.

Cet appareil est un formidable outil à recommandable aux musiciens. Il contient un grand nombre d'effets et fait par la même occasion office d'un pré-ampli. C'est juste génial comme outil, très riche et facile à utiliser.

Update despues de casi 1 año de uso:Una muy buena pedalera, bastante potente y ademas con los nuevos amplificadores que metieron en el ultimo fimware vas a tener mucho mas opciones de sonido, no solo para guitarra sino tambien para bajo, lo cual es muy útil si tocas ambos instrumentos.Ojo, si recomiendo que actualices la pedalera una vez que la adquieras, lo puedes hacer desde la pagina de boss siguiendo las instrucciones.Pros:- Los materiales se sienten de calidad, es muy bonita a la vista a demas de que se siente solida, sinceramente se siente que es producto premium.- Cuenta con una enorme cantidad de efectos de over/distors, modulaciones, wha, whami, pre-amps, delay y demas.- Es ideal para añadir a tu pedalboard junto con pedales individuales ya que cuenta 2 FX-Loops en los cuales puedes añadir 2 cadenas de pedales y moverlos sobre la cadena interna de la GT-1000.- Cuenta con 3 botones los cuales son 100% programables para poder encender/apagar efectos, como si fueran 3 pedales extras usandolo en su modo manual o bien, teniendo un foot switch a parte.- Pudes programar 2 cadenas de pedales de manera indivudual, es decir puedes tener 2 cadenas con diferentes efectos, amps, EQ, etc y sonarlas de manera individual o simulatena en stereo o mono, esto la vdd es super util si quieres pasar de un sonido crunch a uno lead o lead a clean sin tener que cambiar de pre-set o en su defecto si quieres sonar 2 amplificadores diferentes en stereo, ademas de contar con un cambio dinamico en el que segun la intensidad con la que toques, cambia de cadena.- Los amplificadores son muy buenos, cada uno tiene sus 3 tipos de ganancia (baja, medio y alta) traen su propio ecualizador pero también tiene diferentes confuiguraciones para puedas conectarlo a un ampli de vdd ya sea por el input del ampli o en el return.Contras:- La interfaz, creo que es algo de lo que puede ser cuestion de gustos pero en lo personal no me gusta nada, hay pedaleras de la misma gama con mucho mejor interfaz, es poco intuitiva aunque si bien puedes usar el BOSS tone studio que si es mas intuitivo, si requieres hacer un cambio en vivo pude que sea tedioso si no estas acostumbrado.- Delays, cuenta con 3 delays y 1 master delay, los 3 delay son delays digitales muy sencillos el master delay si te da mucho mas opciones y por lo mismo me habria gustado que fueran al menos 2 master delays para poder configruarlos en 2 cadenas diferentes, no es algo que afecte su funcionamiento pero si se les paso.- Reverb, similar al punto anterior este cuenta solo un reverb, nuevamente, no hubiera estado mal 1 extra para incluirlo en una segunda cadena.- Manual, en el manual te explica lo general, pero la explicación de todos los parametros viene en otro manual a parte que puedes encontrar en la pagina, aunque creo que no se hace mencion de este ultimo en el primero.En general, si le quieres sacar provecho si vas a tener que estudiarle pero vale la pena, no le di 5 estrellas por los contras que mencione pero en general si la recomiendo.

Les options de configuration sont tellement nombreuses, impossible de trouver une chaîne dans laquelle il ne rentrerait pas. Je l'utilise en combinaison avec un ampli à lampe aussi bien qu'en simulateur d'ampli autonome. Il est piloté par un boitier midi programmable pour disposer de plus de switches.La qualité des pédales d'effet et des simu d'ampli vaut largement celle de processeurs 3 fois plus chers. Et la puissance embarquée permet de faire des combinaisons d'effet pour créer des sons hors norme, de niveau professionnel.

If you are looking at this "multi-effects processor," you probably have experience with pedals and an idea of what you want. There are a lot of reviews and videos online that provide more detail about all of the features it has than I could offer here. I am writing this to share my experience after about a month of use and the reason I chose this device over its competitors.I am reviewing the Boss GT-1000 Core as a multi-effects processor and not as a pure guitar pedal. To me, a good pedal responds dynamically to the controls on the guitar and also to my picking dynamics. It should sound "authentic" and not "synthetic," like a cell phone ringtone. Here, one of the biggest draws is the signal processing. You really can tell the difference between its 32-bit/96kHz processing and many of its competitors. It sounds surprisingly good. On the downside, however, it does not respond very dynamically to changes in picking or to a guitar's controls. It will clean up a little with lighter picking, but not like a good standalone pedal. Most of the change is just in volume. I can detect very little effect from the guitar's tone controls in most of the effects.As far as the effects themselves, they are surprisingly good and useful. Almost all of them sound authentic. There are a lot of them - 250 to be precise. Most are named in a way so that you can appreciate what they will sound like without having to guess, which I like. They are arranged in two, duplicate, banks: one bank is factory pre-set, and the other is a user programmable copy where you can save your changes. I like that because the factory presets are good, and you can always come back to them for reference when you find that the settings you chose for your Stratocaster are not working the way you want for your Les Paul.I do not think most people will miss the foot pedal that was deleted for the "Core" version of the Boss GT-1000. There are expression and wah effects built into the device. I find the reduced size to be more useful. It fits easily into a gig bag along with a few cables and its power supply.As mentioned by others, the user interface is not terribly intuitive. There is a nice app for PC or tablet that helps. However, the unit lacks Bluetooth, so you have to hard wire it to your computer, and it's still using the older USB micro-B connector instead of USB-C. I was going to downgrade my rating because of the complexity, but I realize that this product is like Photoshop or AutoCad: It's a career in a box. It has features that most people will never need, use, or even find. Nevertheless, like those other products, you don't need to understand everything about it to enjoy it and get what you are looking for out of it. Despite what you might read elsewhere, you can literally plug and play the GT-1000 Core without even reading the manual and make it do what you want. I think it's a feature that, if you want to spend the time digging into everything it has to offer, then you will be rewarded with a plethora of things to explore and fine tune.I chose the Boss GT-1000 Core over the Eventide Harmonizer H90. At the time of my purchase, both were priced within $50 of each other. Despite the fact that the Eventide is marketed as a harmonizer, and the Boss is marketed as a multi-effects processor, the two products are remarkably similar. The Boss offers harmonizer and pitch shifting functionality. The Eventide has a multitude of effects. Both are fairly complicated to fully master. To me, the processing power of the GT-1000 made all the difference. Many of the H-90's effects sound like a cell phone ringer to me, while the GT-1000 sounds like a guitar. Also, Eventide gives its effects names that don't indicate what the effect will sound like. What does a "Wormhole" sound like? Boss uses names like "Premium Overdrive," which will give you an idea of what to expect.This is my first "multi-effects processor," and the initial allure was being able to experiment with different pedal effects that I do not own as a standalone pedal, such as a phaser or a sound gate, to see whether I would like to buy one. However, as I use it more, I realize the convenience, flexibility, and sound quality are making it my go-to for most of my playing.

El tamaño es compacto. Los sonidos son de alta calidad. 96 kh x32 bits flotantes. Las opciones para conectarlo son varias; desde la más básica, hasta conexiones avanzadas de 4 cables. Y se pueden combinar con pedales de efecto externo. (2 loops) El precio es justo.

Se escucha la calidad sónica. Después de haber tenido otros procesadores Zoom, Line6, en los últimos años me ha convencido Roland Boss y ofrece la mejor relación calidad precio. Lo recomiendo

Me gustó mucho muy bueno me falta ver si funciona como modelador pero como pedal es la forma más práctica de salir a tocar y no llama mucho la atención hasta se ve simple pero para nada lo es

1.- No es tan flexible con el posicionamiento de los efectos. 25 slots y me veía en dificultades. Simplemente adolece de lo mismo que el MS3 y otros multi efectos BOSS, Unos son efectos FX, otros son modulaciones o distorsiones. Y van en su slot correspondiente, Meh ¿y si quiero más de estos y menos de aquéllos? En fin suena impresionante 25 bloques de efectos, pero sigue teniendo poca flexibilidad pues solo 3 slots son libres para insertar el efecto que quieras. El resto son pre establecidos.2.- No pude sacar un buen sonido de las emulaciones. A unas les faltaba volumen, otras tenían demasiado, muy dispares los niveles entre un modelo de amp y otro. Al usarlo con el return de mi amp, sonaba mal, (si si, con la emulación de bocina apagada), tiene muchas opciones de salida para usarlo con un amp, pero unas suenan mal y otras peor. Al usarlo con mis monitores de estudio, mas o menos, aun usando buenos IR, Muy apagado el sonido, quizás había un eq haciéndola mala por ahí, pero como…3.- La interfase es poco gráfica, no es tan intuitivo encontrar las cosas entre puro texto. Puedes usar la app, claro, pero cuando ennsayo y quiero hacer un cambio en el momento. Quiero poder hacerlo sin una laptop.Decidí probar el GX100 de Boss, los comparé y devolví el gt1000. El gx100 es muchísimo mas flexible, mucho más gráfico y por algún motivo, los modelos de ampli suenan mejor, tanto saliendo al power amp como en los monitores, tiene menos opciones en cuanto a micros y bocinas virtuales, pero con unos buenos IR, eso queda de lado.Tal vez me toco una unidad defectuosa, no lo se.
