It is advertised in a misleading fashion.I bought this because I wanted full pans and a new tin palette, regardless of how it advertises itself. You cannot fit 24 full pans into this thing, you cannot fit 24 full pans into *any* tin palette of comparable size, lmao. It does have a bunch of mixing wells, which are very convenient, so there's that!The swatch insert is not watercolor paper, it is not even cheap cellulose crap.If you want a good watercolor palette (that does not lie about what it is) stick to Medeen's products, they are also pretty cheap but at least they are reliable (ime).

Was more expensive than other brands. I only ordered this particular one because of the convenience of the color swatch card (vs making my own).Color card was missing, customer service not helpful— suggested I order a second one, swipe the card and then return it. What a waste.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this little metal palette, but I’m very pleased. Came packaged very nicely, and in a protective double box, and it’s just so pretty. Room for 12 half pans that stay put even when bounced around in my bag, plus room in the center to add about 4 or 5 more half pans, or 2 or 3 full palsml if you get the ones with magnets on the bottom. Curled edges so you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself, and it seems sturdy and well made. The biggest problem with these metal palettes is the eventual rusting, and I haven’t had mine long enough to encounter that issue. Can only say that it’s beautiful, and seems good quality.

This worked great with my iPhone 7, but it is just barely big enough for the iPhone 10 in a case. You need to make sure that your phone is perpendicular to your lens or the image will not be complete and will be distorted. I find it easier to take the lens out of my telescope and put the camera and lens together in my car where I can use a flashlight to help me line everything up. The moon also works. I have also used it with my monocular to take pictures of the moon. Again, it is easier to line it up using a flashlight or streetlight than while everything is on the tripod. I included a shot of the moon. Anyway, this is cheap and works well. I may order another so that I can use this with students for stargazing and have one to set up while the other is in use.

I was very impressed with the build quality but I found I very difficult to accurately align the phone camera and the telescope eye piece.The vertical alignment is via a slide, but the horizontal alignment is done by pivoting the phone around a choice of two fixed pivot points.At the correct alignment point, the phone holder clamp pressed on the down volume button, which when the phone is in photo mode, switches the camera to video.I could not find any position with the lenses aligned that the would not switch automatically to video.Maybe another phone have better success. My dual lenses phone with the camera bump high on the right side is very difficult to setup.Nice adaptor, just not usable with my phone with out modifications. Definitely not universal.
