It has a tendency to bounce of the poles of the net. Sometimes the numbers gets stuck in the netting and have to be manually brought back down. Otherwise, I like it. It pops when the lichter hits the strike zone, and is easy to see where the ball is located. I like being able to communicate easily where I want the ball located in the strike zone. Perfect for training new pitchers.

Simple target that is easy to set up with a bownet or similar product. Seems to be pretty durable so far.

Do not purchase the Bownet Zone Counter! I bought this item last August and was able to use if for the first time this week. After less than 50 pitches the sides of the zone counter border have torn about 75% of the way on one side and 50% on the other. The sewing did not come undone, the black border actually tears. For the three strips of the counter itself, the stitching that holds the bottom weight is coming undone. This is all from a single use of less than 50 pitches by a 12U player that is rehabbing so throwing less than 50 MPH. Do not waste your money. Believe it is due to the failure to conduct folded double stiches with the fabric. The bottom is ripping as well where the sides connect to the bottom. If you do decide to try your luck and buy it, make sure you use within 30 days so you can send the pieces back to Amazon. .....I am adding this on 3 weeks later. I contacted Bownet and was quickly and without hassle sent another counter. The new counter appears to have better stiching and replaces some of the plastic parts with steel ones. I haven't used it yet but I will provide update on the longevity of this new one within the next two weeks.

I'm giving it 3 stars probably due to fault on my end and the manufacturer's end. The zone counter is a really awesome idea but within about 2-3 weeks of use, the weights that hold the numbers down so they don't fly all over the place in the wind ripped out. I still use it but it's a little hard to know exactly where I'm hitting with the numbers flapping in the wind. I think the manufacturer did a poor job in making this material durable. But as I stated, it was also partially my fault as well, as I left the zone counter attached to my net 24/7. I didn't take it down so it was sitting there, day and night, rain and shine. So all that rain water and dew in the morning could have gotten to the zone counter and weakened the material. Still, you would think the manufacturer would think of this and try to make a more durable zone counter. I would recommend this product if you take VERY good care of it and store it away when not using it and if the person using it is of little league age, maybe pony league (14-15 years old). I throw about 70 mph. I also used the target to long toss as well to work on my accuracy, so that may have added to the tearing and ripping. All the information I've given, this is why I give it 3 stars; awesome idea and really helps, but somewhat of a cheap material (rips easier than it should).
