This is my third time purchasing BPS water socks, and they have added a significant upgrade by removing the elastic / velcro strap and replacing it with a heavy-duty ankle retention rim. For my last two pairs, I ended up picking out the stitching and removing the strap, so this is a great improvement to an already excellent product.Overall quality remains excellent, and these are very comfortable under full-foot fins. I've tried other, similar products and they just haven't held up to regular usage the way the BPS socks do.

I followed the sizing guidelines. I had a lot of difficulty getting a dry foot into the sock. Once I did, the bottom is almost impossible to adjust and doesn't really match the shape of a human foot. I purchased these for surf fishing. I just don't see being able to get a wet foot into this sock. This one is not for me. I am returning for a refund.

I recently purchased the BPS New Zealand ‘Soft Skin’ Sand Proof Water Socks for a white water rafting trip in the 40degrees waters of the Snake River in Wyoming (Tetons area). This FL girl was quite worried that her toes would freeze in the cool June water temps, but these booties made sure they stayed warm and comfortable on my rafting trip. I cannot wait to use them at home in Florida when we go to the ocean for my beach and water activities. The 3mm neoprene material provided excellent insulation, keeping my feet warm in cooler waters. The anti-slip soles offer great traction on slippery surfaces, making sure I remain stabile and confident while walking on wet rocks or sandy beaches.The adjustable velcro ankle straps effectively minimized sand and water entry, making these socks perfect for beach volleyball and other shore activities. The fit is snug but comfortable. I did not have any issues taking them on or off.

I bought these for a vacation to the Carribean, and they were perfect! The elastic Velcro strap kept the water socks on through rough waves. The sizing was also spot on.

I have not tried the product in the water yet, I just received them. I'm writing a review hoping it will help fellow shoppers. I wear a size 6 1/2 in women's shoes and I have wide feet. I am petite. The SMALL fits perfectly. However, the ankle opening in the sock is very, very small. It stretches to put on and it works well for me but, it could be tight for some. You can stretch it out but not a lot. The foot size is perfect if you wear a 6 1/2 in women's shoes. The bottoms are textured but I'm not sure the would hold up against sharp rocks. They should work great on sand and in the water.
