Item just described, Great pair of tongs w/ enough get but not too much to were they're loose feeling. I use these on the grill & in the kitchen. I really like these. I would recommend.

These tongs feel very solid and the steel is good and thick. They are long and have a snub style “business end” instead of a fine tweezer style end, so I find them better for cooking than for plating delicate things. There are grooves in the metal to help with grabbing some larger items. These tongs would be a nice part of a set of cooking tools. Just like knives, no single tool does everything.The long length makes these tongs good for grabbing frying foods out of hot oil, or grabbing smaller items like shrimp or cutlets off the grill. These wouldn’t be my primary grill tongs, because they are made to be manipulated with a couple fingers, and not the whole hand, so you don’t have as much strength using these tongs than you would with a larger pair - but that’s not what these are designed for. You could flip steaks with these tongs if you want to, and they will definitely hold the weight without warping, but you better have some serious hand strength to do it all day.I able to do things like remove like a single piece of soggy lettuce from of a salad, grab a single pea, or pick up an entire roll of duct tape and carefully place it. These are good tongs, and pretty versatile. They are a nice addition to a kitchen set, or can be used for crafts or other uses. I actually really like these tongs for grabbing and planting stem plants in my tall aquarium. The long reach helps me grab and place individual plant stems exactly where I want, and stick them into the gravel. For that alone, these tongs are worth it.

This surprisingly of high quality and really easy to use as well. I basically use this for all our meats, it’s sturdy, very well made and quite elegant too. this is currently my favourite kitchen utensil. love this!!
