These filters make for an easy clean up when we make our cold brew for our Coffee House. They are a great time saver and they keep the grounds out of the Cold Brew.

I used 40 of these so far. I had ripped only one, and that was my fault. I tried to pick up the filter after I filled it... Here is instructions...1 fill your 7 gallon bucket up with your cold brew mash.... (coffee grinds and water)Line your brewista with the filter paperTake your day old mash and siphon it from the 7 gallon bucket into your paper filter (dont jam the hose into the filter... gently allow the liquid to pour in...Once no more liquid start scooping the wet mash and gently put it into the brewista (in the filter)Wait 30 min (all done)5 gallons of usable cold brew out of 6.5 gallon mash...Having 7 gallon buckets you can make 10 gallons an hour this way....(DO NOT BREW IT IN THE BREWISTA..) brewing it in the 7 gallon buckets allows you to protect and keep your cold brew hygienic. And you can use the buckets to store the cold brew when you're done.

We've been using the cold probrewer for about a year now, and have no complaints at that. However, the paper filters are absolutely worthless. The inside of the black basket in the cold probrewer has some sharp edges, in unless you place your filter in their gently, then pour your coffee and, then slowly pour your water in you'll rip the filter and have a big mess on your hands.Regarding other reviewers comment that it is slow to pour, I would have to agree, we have stopped using the felt filter at the spout, relying solely on the paper filter inside of the mesh basket. Are coffee comes out clean, as long as the paper filter doesn't break. I would highly suggest buying another brand of interior filters, the toddy ones seem to work, are about the same price, and don't break nearly as easily.

These are a little pricey. But for making a large amount of cold brew, it's the best option.

I really wanted the whole Brewista system to work and had really high hopes for it. We make large batches of cold brew coffee so this system was a no brainer and in theory exactly what we were looking for. However these paper paper filters are absolutely, 100% worthless. If you use the filters as instructed, it rips and tears every single time. We went through a few thinking maybe we were doing something wrong. We came to the realization, that this is just a faulty product for anyone that is serious about cold brewing. If you are doing a large amount of cold brew, I would suggest going with cheesecloth or a nylon mesh bag. Those are more durable and will not disintegrate in water like these paper filters.
