I installed 4 of these in 1/2 hour. Fit was perfect for Nutone fan model 696ND-B from the 1990's. The secret for ease of installation: use a tall ladder, lower the grill so it is hanging away from the fan, then on one side -push the old wires together and center on slot and lower that side out of the fan's slot. Don't try to remove the other side of wire without repositioning your ladder. Use your dominant hand to squish the remaining wire together and lower out of the fan slot. Same goes for installing the new grill. Look at it from the floor because it may not be square to the room. There is play to make it straight. Looks terrific! Goodbye terribly yellow, dirty and old looking trim!

I bought these to replace a few that are broken during cleaning. Unfortunately the plastic tabs on the grilles are a little fragile if you don't carefully remove the metal clips during cleaning and maintenance. These replacement fan grilles work great. Installed in less than two minutes and they look like the original covers.
